One of the best place we have ever been. The house is beautiful, clean and comfortable. The surrounding is marvelous. The staff is friendly and the owners are always around to take care of everything. The breakfast and the dinner are tasty and abs enough. There is always options for the kids like french fries and “schnitzel”, pasta etc. There is playing rooms and wellness. The wellness is a real wellness not just a cabin at the basement. It is a relevant part of the house with a beautiful location. You can see the surroundings from the sauna, can go outside the balcony, rooms where you can have rest after having a sauna, or steam or infra sauna. The only problem we had during our trip was that we had to come home and leave this Austrian heaven. Thanks for this couple of days and we are coming back for sure soon.

This was I think our fifth time in this guesthouse. This says already enough. This family run accommodation is perfect for families. The rooms are clean, the breakfast is generous.
There is a playing room for kids, the swimming pool is a nice extra for the kids as well.
Theresa, Klara and their staff do everything that you can make the most of your holiday.
We always go there to ski, but the family organises lots of other activities too. You can borrow a sledge and use the small ski lift behind the house for some practice.
Thank you Theresa for everything and see you next year.

We stayed here 7 nights. It is a very nice location and hotel. The room was big with two balconies and a wonderful view. Breakfast and dinner were also provided and both of them had very tasteful food (including bio stuff like the milk from their own cows or homemade butter). The spa area is appropriate for relaxing and good looking. (The photos are accurate). There is a main building and a second one with tunnel communication. Next to them is a barn where you can see the cows, as well as the milking process. There is also a kids area with air hockey, table tennis, billiards. There are many places where you can sit and socialize or play board games. The restaurant has a bar which is open until approximately at midnight. They also have a slope for beginners in the back, which is nice and useful for those who start skiing. There is also free parking.
We spend a wonderful time here at Ponyhof. I totally recommend this place.

My family love Feriendorf Ponyhof. We are regular winter guests, 15th time already, this year. Every year the owners – fam. Hollaus improve their property. Once rooms, once children playground or lobby. This „village“ is situated in quiet place surrounded by mountains. You are actually on the farm. Behind the house is small lift where your kids can learn to ski. We always stay in the main building. The rooms are a good size with a nice balcony. They are equiped with Tv, safe box, hairdryer and shower gel. The bottle of water with sweets on the day of arrival is a very nice touch. They provide the ski storage room with shoes dryer, fitness room, sauna, small inside pool with whirpool and outside pool, opened every evening during winter. For extra charge you can book massage. You can use also tennis table, billiard or table football. There is also free wifi, not very quick but adequate for holliday. You came relax and not to be connected .
Our room rate includes half board. The rich buffet breakfast offers everything what you need for your good start of the day. Every evening you can choose from 2 four courses Menu + one Children menu. The glass of house wine or soft drink is also included. Once in a week the family organize „Fackelwanderung“, small walk with a torch.
During our holliday my husband celebrated his birthday. Klara, the chief of house was so glad to borrow me the traditional dirndl so I suprised everyone at our party.
Finally, Ponyhof is perfect place for our holliday with perfect staff and excellent services. It will be our pleasure to come back next year!!!

A 10 year gap since the last visit to the Ponyhof resulted in a big shock upon my recent return. Huge expansion and upgrading of the facilities both above and under the ground. Consequently the accommodation has been extended into former farm outbuildings and furnished to a high standard. Rudi and his family run the whole estate and have clearly set up to capture a family market and operate throughout the year. Food is freshly produced and service is excellent. Rooms and public areas are kept spotlessly clean. A minor criticism being the tiny indoor pool compared to the more spacious outdoor version (Maybe time to put a roof on?). The location is both stunning and accessible but the use of a car or minibus is essential whether you are there for summer hikes or winter sports . Zell am See being the nearest town a 15 minute drive away.

We spenta week here for the second time. We had a family room with a nice balcony, a normal double bed and a sleep sofa for the kids. The room was large enough for the four of us, Sufficient cabinet space was provided as well. The bath room is simple but sufficient.

The rooms are not the selling factor for this hotel though! Everything revolves around making a good holiday for children. The hotel has it's own animals, from cats to chicken and horses. It provides a nice playground and a nice enough swimming pool. There is entertainment for the kids on every day.

Mind you, this is no place if you do not like kids, the ratio was nearly 50/50 adults to kids. Location is good enough if yuo want to make some excursions to Zell am See, Kaprun, the Großglockner pass or even Salzburg. Prices for the hotel are acceptable at halfboard, drinks were a bit expensive for my taste. If you have kids, that like animals, mountains and hiking, this will be contender for "best holiday ever"

Stayed for one week in February. Room was clean and well equipped. Food was excellent. Breakfast was superb and set you up for a day on the ski slopes. This year a new wellness centre has been added with a sauna, gym etc. There is an indoor children's play area and a swimming pool. The pool is partly indoor and partly outdoor. The outdoor portion is opened for an hour or so in the winter - great to swim in the open with snow on the ground.
Superb family run hotel - can't wait to return next year.

Friendly service, spacious and clean rooms, the food was delicious and prices very reasonable.
Great location if you planing to drive up the Grossglockner.
Nice playground and the animals and playrooms will keep kids entertained.
We borrowed Heidi the pony, for a walk and ride. Nice and relaxing until you walking up the hill. Make sure you hold that thing tight and show it who's the boss then, as it didn't want to come back down that hill haha. Stubborn little thing.
Great experience, will definitely recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you!
