Had a coffee there before going up the Grossglockner. Called to reserve two rooms before returning back late evening. Very friendly phone contact. The 2 rooms were fantastic and quiet, the mattresses excellent, sauna, pool and fitness areas clean and well equipped, generous and delicious breakfast buffet. Dinner at the restaurant was good too, incl. choice for vegetarian/vegan diet.

We spent 7 nights at this hotel, being in Austria for our winter holiday in February 2015. Room was very clean and fairly spacious, with a well equipped bathroom and a scenic view balcony. Our booking included a half board meal plan. The breakfast was satisfactory, so was the diner, nothing too fancy, but 2-3 main courses to choose from....

We didn't booked the hotel, but we've choose the restaurant to spent the night between the years. It was a good choice, because the restaurant is pretty big, clean, it has a various menu, offers international and traditional Austrian cuisine. The prices are reasonably and the food is great.

The hotel is a great choice for a good night's sleep if you are driving through the Grossglockner route: the start of the route is nearby - wake up early and avoid (some) of the crowds on the route. If you've got the time it's also worthwhile to stay a day or two and go hiking in the nearby mountains....

This hotel is a bit of a hidden gem. We expected nothing when arriving, and was very impressed. The rooms were tidy and no-nonsense with a balcony and a decent bathroom. The WiFi was very good and allowed both Skype and streaming, which always is a plus in my book. We dined in the hotel's restaurant and had a very...

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Roemerhof in January 2014 (2 adults and 2 children). The Austrian hospitality and friendly atmosphere made our days much more brighter than expected. The food, service, rooms, spa, cleanliness was excellent but the waiters and receptionists even more. We loved this place and will return for sure! I'd recommend to book your stay in...

The outdoor pond is lovely, the rooms are ok, the bed confortable. Loved the breakfast buffet and the breakfast dining area. A lot of parking spaces. The indoor pool is rather small and almost everytime filled with kids jumping in the water and splashing around which is kind of annoing. Don't expect to play pool, the table is smaller than a...

I stayed here with my girlfriend and felt welcome right from the beginning. Nadine at the reception was very helpfull and friendly. Our travel agent booked us in the building opposite the actual hotel that belongs to the hotel. We preferred staying in the main building ao Nadine did all the could and the next day, when another room came...

“Stayed in rooms 115 and 116. 1st and 2nd floor rooms come with balcony. Wellness area accessible via 1st floor, there is a room for children's room on the first floor (it was closed when we were there, so no idea about potential noise emission).”
