The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There were also no problems with my son's gluten-free diet. The hotel has a good location for excursions in the area. The accommodation met our expectations and we are glad we chose the Waterfall Hotel.

We had to find a hotel for 2 nights at short notice - and found one at the Hotel Wasserfall!!!! Super friendly staff! The location of the hotel couldn't be better! Right on the Glocknerstraße and you can get to Zell am See and Kaprun very quickly! I can only recommend this hotel!!!!! The friendliness here can't be surpassed!

Room is tidy, matress a bit tired and saggy, no soap on the washstand.
Sunday morning the hot water did not work, breakfast room was locked until 8.
I wanted to organise a surprise at breakfast for my son' - whose birthday it was - and went into the kitchen to organise it in secret. Without listening to me at all, the staff gruffly ordered me out of the kitchen (twice) and insisted on only talking to me in the restaurant - where my son was sitting. That rude demeanour completely ruined my surprise and put a damper on my son's birthday.
All in all: I won't ever book there again. Piti: the barman was nice, witty and good company...

Dear Hans thank you for your feedback. I didn't gruffly ordered you out of the kitchen, I frindly asked you to please wait in front of the kitchen, as it's not normal to go without asking in the kitchen and as I'm preparing something for the breakfast. Why was is not possible for you to wait in front of the kitchen - your son didn't saw you there as you where sitting in our "Alm-Stube" with no view to the kitchen????? Best regards from Fusch Marion Hollaus

Situated on the main road through the village the place is easy to spot and like many hotels in the area quite imposing. The surrounding scenery is beautiful and the high hills front and back help the spectacular views.
On arrival our introduction was immensely friendly and efficient and we got the corner room on the second floor.
Bathroom was on our left as soon as we entered and the place was clean and efficient, plenty of hot water and a solid pressure from the shower head. Twin beds were comfortable and the floor to ceiling doors opened up on a little balcony overlooking the side car park, road to the front, camp site on the opposite side of the road and the towering green fields leading to a tree lined horizon.
Breakfast was solid with assigned seats and plenty of choice but the majority of it was cold. Exception was hard boiled eggs and of course, the drinks of tea and coffee. Nothing was too much trouble and if something was used up then a simple request got fresh produce delivered to your table.
Really nice place, efficient and friendly staff and good quality sleep and fluffy towels.

We stopped for dinner at this restaurant and got the best trout we ate in ever. It comes with great service too. The restaurateur suggested to open fish for us, service was fast and hearty.
Meat and strudel were also very tasty. So I strongly reccomend this restraunt.

We were not staying at this gasthof but we came here to have a dinner from the nearby accommodation (this place was recommended to us by the owner of the place we were staying). We chose a dinner from the menu and ate at the ouside terrace. The service was very good and the food splendid. One of us took a fish course and the fish was taken right from the aquarium and killed just before grilling. Rest of us took some kind of surprise meal from the menu and it was excellent choice too. It contained different kind of meats and lots of different sides and it was really good value for the price.
