The hotel needs to be fully refurbished ,staff very unfriendly and rude, when confronted about an restaurant issue and asked them to speak to us in English or any other language she has walked away from me stating that we are in Austria and we need to speak German(and I am not an English person).Restaurant makes you wait for your food for over 1 hour. All in all the worst experience since we travel to Austria, avoid at all cost.

Really enjoyed staying here. Superb location for glacier snowboarding - just drive up the road or take the bus from the stop outside the hotel. Bed was v comfy -slept well. Brekky was laid out well and a good continental range. Dinner was good - especially the chicken. The desserts were perfect - a nice taster. Reception staff were v friendly and helpful. Bar staff slightly less so but still ok. Would go again.

We stayed here for one week. Overall, it was a nice experience but there are things to be improved. The hotel is quite old and this is best reflected by its furniture. Some of the rooms still have small and old TVs. Also, in some of the rooms it is quite cold, but the hotel provides electric heaters if requested. Cleanness is decent but they could pay more attention to it. The bed was very comfortable for my taste. The location of the hotel is very good, in a valley between the mountains, next to a river. A lot of skiing opportunities around. Wi-fi (free) was working well all-over the hotel. Food was mostly delicious, except for the deserts. The hotel is good for children as it has a playroom and after 21 it is mostly quiet. The staff is very friendly, even if most of them have difficulties with English. The hotel has a large parking area and a ski-room with heating for ski-shoes. There is also a bar in the hotel, opened three days of the week until 1:00 AM. Staying in this hotel you have discounts for fitness and swimming pool in the city (5 min driving). All in all, we were satisfied and would consider coming back.

We've been there in April/May 2016. It was quiet season, but hotel seemed to be pretty busy, probably due to quite competetive prices they have. And that's OK, because I could afford staying in Hotel with Half Pension, sauna and other stuff, additionally really close to Kaunertal Glacier without ruining my budget. If You expect a pictoresque alpine, quiet, cosy hotel you maight be a little disillusioned, but to be truthful, service, and food is really good. I liked Tyrolean evening when you could try a lot of different local dishes. Parking has a lot of space, and souroundings are great for little hiking after skiing. Couple of bars are within walking distance, but bar in the hotel is also not bad. They have good skiroom, rooms are well equipped and clean.
