Finn is a small hotel located at the very center of Almere providing basic services at affordable prices. Rooms are small but adequate if you do not plan to linger in them, and very clean. You would not call their decor imaginative - utilitarian is a better description, yet they are pleasant. Breakfast is buffet style and, again, covers all the basics of breads, croissants, butter, jams, eggs, etc., coffee and tea is made fresh for every cup, a decided plus. It is served in their main floor restaurant/bar which is roomy and light. The staff is young and very friendly, always with a smile and eager to help with any request and question. If you are on a short city stay and do not need luxury Finn is an excellent choice, also very convenient to the Almere Centrum train station (5 minute walk). Will surely choose it again.

We were traveling with dogs to visit World Dog Show in Amsterdam, we stayed with 2 small dogs (5 kgs each). Hotel FINN was full with different dogs, some people were keeping more then 5 dogs in one room. Our friends from Belarus and Lithuania made a booking to stay with dogs (2 rooms for 3 persons and 4 dogs (2 dogs per room) and the money were charged before from their card, but they were not allowed to stay with dogs when arrived after more then 2000km driving!!!!!! The nice girl at the reception explained it is a new fresh rule provided by the hotel director - not to allow dogs. We personally think it is disrespectful, we have never been in such situations for more then 5 years of traveling with dogs. They charge 10 EUR per 1 dog per 1 day, and they don't watch the size of the dog. Our dogs were too small, and the other dogs living in hotel were bigger (rottweilers, labradors, bullmastiffs, springer-spaniels....payed the same fee, some dogs even peed near the elevator doors - nor owners neither hotel staff cleaned it till 10 am) The other negative things: very loud district with night-clubs and music till 5:00 am, windows were closed but it didn't help even with earplugs. Too hot in the room on the 2nd floor. Restaurant FINN served us uncooked salmon even we order it grilled!!! What? How is that possible with fish! Then the waiter took it back and return us after micro-wave! It is good we mentioned it almost immediately. In our country (Ukraine) when such thing happens - we receive a new portion! Among positive features: Furniture was new. 10 minutes walk to a railway and bus station. Girl and a man at the reception were very nice but after the hotel director provided a new 'special' rule for our friends who were not allowed to stay with dogs, mark for personal couldn't be higher then 2, excuse me for that =(

Hotel Finn is very central in Almere. If you want quiet on a Friday and a Saturday have another cocktail! The room has very weird decor, could be cleaner but as we used as a base to see Holland, was good. Good coffee. Staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. Could develop a better beer range a make this a selling point! Did feel safe here.

Hotel Finn is a hotel located right in the middle of Almere shopping and bar area. It is close to a small concert venue and train station. The staff is friendly and correct. Very helpful as well. The restaurant service a bit slow. I wanted a quick dinner before my appointment but it took well over 15 minutes before somebody came for the order. The rooms are okay. The sound insulation is good but the blinders do not keep all light out. The bed was good, a little soft for my taste but the mattress not really clean. They should use other brackets to cover it. Bathroom was very small and the shower had almost no water pressure and didn’t get really warm. For a one night stay this is a good hotel But the hotel should consider that just 5 minutes further down the road there is a more high class hotel in the same price range

Stayed here a few weeks ago with the kids and my parents. Nice rooms, although a little basic. In one of the rooms there was no kettle, although the very friendly receptionist offered to get us one. The hotel itself is like a Tardis. It seems quite small on the outside but when you get to the floor with the rooms, you see that there are actually a lot of rooms, as the hotel goes all the way to the Grote Markt square. Speaking of the square, there were a couple of places playing loud music in the evening, and as this was a Saturday, it went on quite late into the night. I had some problems getting to sleep, and then woke a few times during the night. The rooms are all identical or mirror images of each other. The bathrooms have a strange door that acts not only as a door for the bathroom but also for the shower itself. Only problem is that is made of glass and has gaps at the top and bottom! Even with the door closed when showering there was still plenty of water that made it to the bathroom floor. So while the door looks quite cool it doesn't really serve much of a function. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, so top marks for her! There is an adjoining restaurant/bar that was exceedingly busy, even on the Sunday evening. There was live music which we managed to catch the tail end of. One tip: the fireplace in the centre of the restaurant gets extremely hot! We had to move after the first drink because we couldn't take the heat anymore! All in all, a nice hotel with friendly staff and decent, clean rooms. For 65 euros a night for a twin room it is a good alternative to paying much higher prices in Amsterdam, and is less than 30 minutes away by train.
