The location of the hotel is just outside the centre but it is only a short walk to the centre and the metro is very close anyway. The bed and room are nice the bathroom is a little dated though and could do with an...More

Have a wonderful Summer.
We stayed for 3 nights in a standard double. The bed was comfortable and the room was big compared to other European hotels we've stayed at. The breakfast selection was good, if the service was a bit slow with coffee upon arrival. The Forum metro...More

There are many things to like about this hotel. The first and most impressive is Lin, who helped us at the front desk. She is by far and away the best thing about the Avenue Hotel and she made our stay a success. As well,...More

this hotel has small rooms but very cosy, close to the metro. They offer a very good healthy breakfast every morning that is at least 90% bio and have also wine hour every night on the house. Price is good too

Dear Johanne F,
thank you so much for this review.
I am very pleased to see that you were happy about your stay.
Hope to see you back with us soon.
Located between Noerrebro and Vesterbro you’ll find Frederiksberg, which is actually a municipality in itself but completely surrounded by Copenhagen. Here there are several fine theaters, from the experimental to the great Det Ny Teater (The New Theater) which specializes in transcribing the great London and New York musicals into Danish, and has done so for several years with huge success. In Frederiksberg you’ll find
Denmark’s most beautiful (and expensive) city villas. These 4-5 square miles form the Beverly Hills of Copenhagen. Here you’ll also find Frederiksberg Have (Garden) which sports huge outdoor concerts, from classical to electronic dance music. To top it off, dining options range from cozy family restaurants to some of the area’s most trendy cafés.
We have parking available in our backyard, the cost per night is DKK 215,-. You just ask for a parking license when you check in.
We are looking forward to welcome you to the Avenue Hotel.
