Just returned after spending 3 nights here with my family. It is a very nice site with clean albeit a bit dated facilities. It was very busy with a lot of children playing on their bikes etc (half term), a lot of the kids played near the pub/shop/toilet area and unfortunately our caravan was very close to this area so...

First impressions very good. Very friendly helpful staff. Wonderful quiet site just a stone's throw away from Bakewell and only 45 minutes from home. Facilities nice and clean although could perhaps do with a bit of an update. Good selection of drinks available in the bar. And very friendly caravaners to talk to

Just returned from a two night stay at this well located site, only a 30 minute walk from Bakewell and close to the beautiful village of Ashford. The site is large but the pitches are small. The refuse/bin area is an eyesore and the toilet / showers are barely enough for the number of pitches. There is a good shop...

Stayed here in September with our motorhome and found it pretty expensive. It is a nice site with a shop and bar on the premises. Has all the usual facilities and set in a very nice area. Might be within walking distance to Bakewell but did not check this out. Showers and toilets seem fine but noticed they asked you...

We needed to find accommodation as close to Bakewell as possible for three adults and two dogs. The party also has quite specific dietary requirements, so with these varying needs, I thought it might be difficult to find somewhere suitable. There is only one static available to rent in this site and luckily for us it was available for the...

This is a large campsite with lots of permanent caravans, some hard standing for touring vans and three fields for tents - much of it not level though. Plentiful showers and toilets which were spotless throughout our visit, a bar, coffee shop and large children's play area. It is expensive but convenient to Bakewell.

Stayed here in September so we could visit Chatsworth Country Show. You would need to drive as it's about 5.5 miles away. The pitches are well spaced. Toilet and shower blocks clean. Lovely views. There is a cosy bar on site too as well as a small shop which stocks basic necessities. Only 3 points of constructive criticism: 1. we...

Not wasting too much time on this review. Far to much noise,to many unruly dogs ( or owners) , to many kids running around all over the place , won't be returning . If you want peace and quiet book elsewhere

This site is extremely well situated about a mile from Bakewell and has stunning panoramic views. The grounds are well maintained with a lovely little adventure play area for the younger children and a field to play ball games on. We have just had a few days camping with our 2 young grandchildren on this site, the boys enjoyed the...

How disappointing we were arriving onto the site, the entrance is well sign posted and as you pass the static units you can't help notice how well kept and maintained the grassed areas, roads and general amenities around them are maintained. With stunning views over the dales etc. Then you turn the corner, and descend into what I can only...
