I soon found you dont really get much room once pictched and 1 car parked next to but the site was well looked afer and set in beautiful country side location. Good for walking biking and close by bakewell and buxton are a hit 2. The shop could do... More

We stayed here in a tent for the weekend absolutely brilliant kids loved it. The shower blocks were immaculate considering the amount of people using them. Staff were lovely Would definitely recommend this campsite for families. And will be visiting again soon

We had a lovely stay at this campsite which is immaculately kept. Good walking distance to the lovely town of Bakewell always something going on. Good location to access the Monsal trail supberb walk. Weather not brilliant when we were there but all you need in the static for a rainy day

As it was the first time taking our kids camping, Greenhills appealed to us as the website appeared to indicate that the site was well equipped and we wanted to mitigate against forgetting something/being unprepared. I emailed with one query about the size of the pitches and received a reply with all of the information I needed within five minutes!... More

Good site and facilities. Added bonus of on site pub with free WiFi . The staff are very friendly and helpful. But we have stayed in sites of similar if not better standard for a cheaper rate. But this may be down to the location and maybe if we checked out other sites in the area they may be of... More

We stayed for two nights at this very popular site - it was good but there are better sites not too far away. - The touring pitches are very cheek by jowl in an open field. - There is a heavy concentration of seasonally occupied touring pitches and static van pitches. - The toilet block whilst clean and tidy, was... Fri - Sun weekend camping break. Stayed on none electricity pitch. Site facilities were spotless. Small bar, shop and park are great. Site was immaculately kept and there's little bunny's everywhere. Walk into Bakewell along the road with kids is around 20-30 mins or 1.4 mile from main office to roundabout at Bakewell. Although Google map says walk is over... More

Stayed for four nights in June with our Motorhome. The site is ideally located to walk into Bakewell in about 25 minutes or the other way to Ashford in the Water in less than 10 minutes. It was very easy to get to as it is on the A6 main road to Buxton. The site is split into separate areas...static... More
