We booked the last room (Pine) online but didn't realise we would be given a converted single car garage for 70 pounds a night! It was an unusually warm summer night but the only fresh air was from a window about 3 foot by 1 which could be only tilted open slightly. So we chose to wedge the door open...

Dear Calylehouse, Thank you for posting your review. Your title is very misleading and derogatory, the Pine room you stayed in has never been a single garage-our property is a Split Level Bungalow with two rooms below the lounge built into the hillside with views down the valley. The Pine room, like any other bedroom, has a full size window...

Warm welcome, spotlessly clean. Good breakfast served in pleasant surroundings with great views from the window. although located at the top of the hill on a narrow lane, they have a small car park across the road for four cars.

This B&B is probably the best we have stayed in, very clean and tidy, the rooms had everything you could need. Breakfast was delicious and Ann was the perfect hostess. The surrounding scenery was breathtaking with some great cycling to be had.

“The twin room gets the morning sun, the double gets the evening sun, in the main house. The downstairs rooms are darker, one in particular, but there is adequate electric lighting. There is some noise from birdsong, and also of sheep - lovely! (this is a B&B, not a hotel)”
