My wife and I visited The Rambler Inn on 7th December with our 2 month old baby for a birthday lunch for me. Was very quiet being a weekday afternoon, the log fire was warm and the reception and service were the same. We had mains which were absolutely delicious, pub food done right! It's such a genuine country gem...

Popping in after a long and cold walk in the hills, this pub is ideal. Dogs are welcome. A family with young children enjoyed hot chocolate. We didn't eat, but the menu looked inviting. Plenty of outdoor tables, but it was far too cold!

You might not stumble over this place if you're not a rambler, and it's a pity. It's location is also perfect for a pit stop going north (not far from the M6/M60. And the place isn't just for hikers. It's a very good B&B with nice rooms, good food and stunning views - very relaxing

The Ramblers Inn was not only a good pub but it was also a great b&b with great food, excellent breakfast and superbly...

Gutted that we found this pub on our last day. Passed it at the end of a walk and decided we'd earned a pint. Great walkers pub with an open fire to warm up in front. Great range of drinks and proper meals for people who have been out on the hills. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back next...

This is the second time I have stayed at The Ramblers Inn and I will be staying again. It's a well-run family pub that offers a warm welcome, good food and drink and an amazing location for walks around the area. Me and 7 friends stayed the weekend and came away totally satisfied. It's a fantastic location for walks around...

This is a nice finish after hiking around edale and the area. The food is good, but I think a lot of it is bought in which I think is rather lazy. However the staff are very friendly and helpful. Good stop after a long walk
