One of the most exotic places in Pakistan! It's irrelevant if you're travelling from abroad or reside in Pakistan, the fort with its surreal landscape equally stuns everybody. Deosai is a marvel and everyone should have the good fortune of visiting the plains at least once. The wonderful staff at the hotel ensured that our trip was conducted as smoothly... More

In particular the old historic room we were staying in was a great experience, however rooms have no internet. Room gets in summer quite hot without air conditioning and sleep with open window is disturbed by outside noise. Food and service was okay, Hotel Manager showed above average engagement to serve us; internet reception in the whole hotel very basic... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your beautiful review. We are very glad that your stay with us was good. We are trying to fix the internet however we cannot much do about the air conditioning since the building is 450 years old and their are limitations in the structure as well as it being an heritage. We look forward to... More

Stayed at both Khaplu Palace and Shigar Fort. Level of service, staff, and food was amazing at Khaplu, however, Khaplu area itself is boring and not as good as Shigar. Serena Shigar was a good experience, but rooms (opposite garden) were not as good and washrooms were much outdated. No 'Cherries' served in room despite reminders :) Wifi signals not... More

We did not stay here but went for a day trip from Skardu as it is just an hour's drive from there. It is a 400 years old fort, restored and transformed into a luxury hotel by Serena. The rooms are equipped with modern comforts and the customer service is excellent. The food was great too. One can enjoy amazing... More

There is nothing wrong with this fort residence and what they are delivering in this area is remarkable. This area is Shia dominated population and what we've faced day/night is continuous religious prayers in Shigar on loud speakers which made it really uncomfortable stay their cause you cannot enjoy the place in peace or sleep well.
