Julia, the manager is the most unethical person you will ever meet. I complained about cat pee smell in our villa upon arrival and she wouldn’t listen and take proper cleaning measures to ensure a comfortable stay. My husband is severely allergic and she did not care and had no where to move us. They covered up the smell with pine sol and we ultimately slept on the couch in our villa. I filled a claim with Hyatt on day 2 and she “promised” a refund and we are still arguing with her and she is saying I never notified the front desk or her. THIS IS THE MOST UNETHICAL BUSINESS OUT THERE! I have escalated this through Hyatt and they are acknowledging that she is lying and running this place poorly. Food is terrible. There’s only a small wooden patio to sit at. The resort is run down. Not a luxury resort like they call themselves. Much like other reviews, they are not accommodating with arrivals and departures. Most incredible service and hospitality. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The villa was huge and could easily sleep the four guests we had. One of the few places in Mykonos that is worth the price. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Casa Del Mar was wonderful, the highlight of our trip to Greece. A stunning villa complex with breathtaking sea views, far from the bustle of the city. The private beach was a favorite daily spot, and George, the beach manager, was fantastic and always willing to assist us. The restaurant's food was excellent, and the free breakfast was incredibly good. We felt at home and were treated like family by the entire team from the minute we arrived until the last day of our stay. A special thanks to Stella and Christos, the reception staff; Julia, the manager; and everyone else who went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Highly recommended place. We will definitely be back.
Beautiful hotel, amazing views.. but be weary of the housekeeper and manager!!!!!! Never had such an awful experience dealing with a manager. Not even sure how she still has this job when she has no idea how to manage a situation. To preface, I am not someone who complains about things for no reason (a Karen), but I had to bring to their attention that two items in our room were STOLEN from the housekeeper. At first, I believed it to be an accident since I only thought it was one item, until my daughter said something else from her room went missing. That was not a coincidence, so I spoke to the gentleman at the front desk who also agreed it was not a coincidence and apologized. The day we were leaving, I had to approach the manager (although she was already informed about what had happened) and off the bat the way she spoke to me was rude. I explained the problem and she replied that my items did not get stolen because they have had that same housekeeper for three years and no one has ever complained. Instead of doing the bare minimum of apologizing and saying she will handle the situation, she called me a liar, and when I asked if she was calling me a liar she denied it and said she will pull up the cameras for proof. The other minor problem I brought up to her was that we were given cold cuts for breakfast the second day of our stay because no one provided us the menu with different options for complimentary breakfast, and we had no idea it existed until we were given it the third day. Once again, she was extremely rude. She spoke in a condescending tone and she never once apologized. Instead, it seemed like she was pissed at us and thought we were trying to avoid paying the food bill, which was not the case. We just wanted to inform her of these situations but for some reason she was annoyed. I told her I’d leave a review so other people are aware of what I dealt with and she said she doesn’t care. Also, we thought the food bill would be charged on the card they had on file (misunderstanding) so when we were about to leave she came running to us threatening to take legal actions for not paying. When I complained about her horrible managing skills she replied to look her name up because she only has good reviews. What kind of manager brags about their reviews in a conversation about the problems we experienced?…
Amazing Seaside Villas that are great for families. Our Villa also had a pool . Quick walk down the path to the sea . The restaurant food is outstanding. The service is fabulous. And the Spa was also great . Had a scrub & massage which after being in the salty sea is amazing. You can snorkel at the hotel beach . It’s a great retreat from busy Mykonos town , but super close . We went into town for dinners , shopping and night life .
A really fantastic hotel, we had an amazing time, we calmed down, congratulations to everyone, we will definitely come again. Everything was great and spotlessly clean; our room was fantastic. Upon arrival we found two smiling faces; they took us to the restaurant and offered a welcome drink, just what we needed after a day's travel. The rooms were nice, but the best part was the private terrace and pool. Breakfast was delicious and rich in options!!! Thank you very much for everything.
Mykonos was a short stop on our visit to Greece. I wish we had spent more nights here! It felt as though we had saved the best for last. Thank you to the team for going above and beyond to make sure that guests have a fantastic time at the hotel. The entire team is excellent! Amazing guest experience. We loved the check-in process and welcome drink at the small cozy restaurant with a great view. Located in a private area, away from the bustle of the city. Incredible sea views - Clean spacious rooms, many with private pools. Delicious food, some of the best food we had on the trip. Highly recommended.
Tough to qualify such an unforgettable experience. Located in one of the most beautiful bays of Mykonos, this so-called hotel is a joke. Comprised in facts of casitas which look made for multi ownership operators, this hotel has not been renovated for ages. Nice but untrained and insufficient personnel, terrible food, the owners should be ashamed to present it for a 4 stars hotel. The quality and size of our bathroom (30 sqft at best) is worth a 1 to 2 * . And we were given the honeymoon suite. Another joke! Good to get an early divorce. No golf carts service to get you through the steepy road to your casita. Until this hotel is sold to people knowledgeable about the hospitality business, avoid it by all means!
Really incredible room with incredible views and equipment. The private beach was fantastic. The breakfast as well as the service fantastic. The favorite of us all was Giannis who served us constantly and was always kind and smiling and willing to help us. Congratulations. See you next summer for sure!
