What a beautiful hotel from the moment we stepped in we were welcomed so warmly by the manager and her team. We were kindly given a upgrade and complimentary wine due to celebrating an anniversary! The views here are absolutely breathtaking, it's definitely a place to relax and unwind. The breakfast is superb with lots of choices. The staff are all super friendly. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Keep up the hard work

On arrival at De.light Boutique Hotel in May we saw a family with a young child running around the pool and his parents walking around with a baby in a pram. We were disappointed to see that the hotel had allowed this as the information on the website clearly states that only children aged 13 upwards are welcome. He ran around the pool area and into the restaurant area as well as up and down the hotel. This hotel sells itself on its luxury status and it's relaxing and romantic atmosphere. This was not what we experienced during our stay at De.light Boutique Hotel and we found it upsetting that the hotel management clearly didn't care about us or the money we had spent to stay at their hotel on our honeymoon, as despite us trying several attempts to speak to the manager, they never appeared or gave us time. This is not a good customer experience. When we finally got a written response to our complaint, the manager was rude, condescending and not willing to help. We strongly advise couples to avoid this hotel for honeymooners. Also we advise the manager to work on her customer service skills and actually take the time to speak to her customers. That way this 1 star review may have been a 5 star review if we had felt listened to. Instead you got your hard working staff to do the hard work, a sign of a bad manager. Mykonos: Mykonos Town was full of day trippers, stepping of Cruise ships, taking over the town, then disappearing. The town itself is stunning in the little alleys and shops, windmills and little Venice, we even met Peter the Pelican!( Google it!) The infrastructure is not good in Mykonos, too much traffic for small roads that need updating for the amount of use they get. We went in May and it was busy, hate to think what it was like in August. We were often stuck in traffic jams on the bus into town. There is nothing to do where this hotel is located so town was best option. However, do not get the night bus home. We were surrounded by old drunk people who verbally abused us and shouted throughout the journey, British abroad eh, she was in her 60s at least and was rude and drunk as a skunk, awful lady. So advise is stay in Mykonos Town or near they're some really wonderful hotels. I work in travel and will certainly be advising my customers not to stay in this area of the island.

A truly fantastic experience for us. The hotel is beautiful - being small with limited rooms the place is very contained and everything feels very personal. The location with fantastic with a beautiful view over the sea to appreciate the Mykonos nights. The pool is smallish for serious swimmers, but practical for those looking to simply relax and had a nice atmosphere. We personally liked the nearby beach as well which has loungers specifically for the De.Light at it. We liked the beach a lot - we much preferred it to the ‘highlight’ beaches like Paradise. Breakfast is a particular highlight - cooked to order from an a la carte menu every day and consistently being extremely high quality - a highlight. Particular mention has to go to the staff which make or break a hotel for of this size - everyone was fantastic, but particular mention to Polina who consistently went above and beyond to make our stay. We came away so relaxed - we’d undoubtedly stay at the De.Light again if we came back to Mykonos. A final note on location - we were in two minds if we should hire a car if not before going given it’s in a quieter location. We were glad we didn’t - there’s a bus stop right outside with a very reliable service running every half an hour for 1.80 EUR a journey. A great stay, thank you again!

Paulina, Martha, George and the whole team made us feel very welcome. We were a group of 12 friends. No ask was too small. It was a pleasant stay. When we made requests, we had it in the room in no time. We were given adequate information about the Island to help us plan our stay better. Thank you!!!

The hotel is in the famous Aleomandra region known for top hotels, a calm atmosphere, mesmerising sunsets and Delos & Rineia right in front. The service at this hotel is top notch. They answer any question and solve any problem. Always there 24/7 and nothing they can’t handle. All rooms have stunning sea views and I was upgraded to an amazing suite with private pool for the last three days. The suite had outstanding views over the area during day and night, even from your bed you can see out over the sea. I stayed there for a whole month and as a seasoned Mykonos visitors who knows most 5* star hotels I can say that you can’t go wrong with this hotel. Thank you for everything.

We stayed here for 10 days in august 2022. Thanks to easyJet (and some idiot who decided to lie and get her smart luggage loaded into the hold) we were late arriving in Mykonos. But we had a warm welcome at the de Light hotel and the kitchen was kept open so we could eat, overlooking the bay. Wonderful! The room ( ground floor) was well equipped and comfortable, and every morning we had the Mykonos breakfast - a wide selection of fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon and pancakes. All served by the wonderful Polina. Every member of staff at the hotel was welcoming and helpful during our stay. The pool was lovely, and sunbeds were always available. We used the sunbeds on the nearby beach (free thanks to arrangement by the hotel). Places to eat nearby were limited ( but the Vassilikis restaurant across the road was fantastic and we dined there frequently. And the bus to Mykonos is only €1.8 with a fantastic range of places to eat. All in all a wonderful place to stay, thoroughly recommended!

Everything was great! Location was quiet as we weren’t going to Mykonos to party. Pool area was clean and always easy to get a chair. Had breakfast and lunch there and food was great, along with drinks which they deliver right to you. Rooms were large and clean with great views. My husband and I got a massage and it was wonderful. Walk to the beach is about 5-7 mins, you get free chairs and umbrella from their sister hotel. Lastly the staff was amazing, the two women at the front desk were so helpful with everything!

A small but luxury hotel set above the beach which is within walking distance with stunning views over the sea. Lovely breakfast selection, great bar and restaurant menu. Rooms very clean and modern, cleaned daily, had a ground floor Superior Room with lovely views over the sea. Free use of sunbeds at the bar on the beach, obtain ticket from reception. Hippie Fish and Pili great venues to eat and drink overlooking the beach and sea and Hippie Fish is what was the original bar in the film Shirley Valentine. Great location and facilities, quieter location, great for adults and couples but with easy access to next town for bars and restaurants, like Ornos. Appaggio restaurant is a local greek restaurant in Ornos and the food is amazing. Bus stop opposite hotel, €3.60 into town and local shop selling water and reasonable prices.
