Our Deluxe Apartment with balcony & pool view was perfect for our 7 nights on Naxos. It came with a generous buffet breakfast, comfortable double bed, kitchen with hot plates, large fridge freezer, electric jug, coffee maker, air conditioning in both the lounge and bedroom, wardrobe, safe, sofa bed, good wifi in all areas, TV, dining table and 2 chairs and a reasonable sized bathroom. Our room was serviced & had the bins emptied every second day which was nice and the bed changed twice. Plenty of space inside for the 2 of us. Outside our private terrace had a table & 4 chairs & a small clothes line. A very nice 16M pool with sun lounges and sun beds. The beach is only 350 metres and 4.5 minutes away and there, if required you will find beach club style setups renting sun leaners and umbrellas for the day and selling food and drinks. The Supermarket is 1 minutes walk. Family run it’s a very pleasant stay. Plenty of car parking.

We have just returned from a week’s holiday at the stunning Birikos apartments (9th to 16th September). From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the friendly and welcoming family. The room was absolutely stunning, and so tastefully decorated. It was spotlessly clean and had numerous facilities in the room to assist in any self catering you wish to conduct (though there are so many incredible restaurants in close proximity). The breakfast in the morning was generous and delicious and you simply ordered what you liked from the varied menu. The pool area was beautiful with plenty of sun beds and plenty of space. The grounds are extremely lush and well kept, with numerous fruit and olive trees and bright gorgeous flowers. The whole place is amazing and can not be faulted. The location is ideal as the beach is just a few minutes walk away, and it’s close to all amenities including supermarkets, restaurants, bars and car hire facilities. We will definitely be returning to this hotel next year and can not wait to come back. Missing it already!

The Birikos is a superb hotel. We had a one bedroom apartment and it was spacious and clean with two balcony’s at the front and back. The bedroom was a great size, two air-con units (one in the bedroom one in the main room). The bathroom was a little dated (ours wasn’t the newest block) but it was spacious and the shower was fabulous.
We loved the pool area, there was an abundance of sun beds and the swinging beds were always available. You could get soft or alcoholic drinks from the reception area to take to the pool. Maria and here whole family couldn’t have been more helpful. There is a supermarket next door, a huge car park. The beach and restaurants and cafes are a 3 minute walk away (we recommend Blue Fin divers for sun beds) and the bus stop into Naxos Town is outside the property. All in all a wonderful accommodation

This is truly a family run venture and it shows with their care and attention to detail
The apartment was well equipped and spotless with fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was excellent and great variety and quality. The pool is large with plenty of sun beds. A 5 min walk to the beach and the bus stop even closer. If you have your own transport there is plenty of parking and a petrol station.
This is outstanding accommodation, run by a lovely caring family and friends and we had a wonderful stay - thank you

Our family vacation started with Maria( the owner of the hotel) greeting us upon arrival with iced coffee and sweets. We felt immediately at home and knew right there and then that our stay at the hotel will be great. We had a double-room apartment, well furnished, extremely clean with fresh towels, and housekeeping every day, very comfortable fully equipt bathroom as well as the kitchen. We chose the hotel because of the large grounds which gave us a feel of spaciousness and peace. Great pool to lay around after a long day at the beach and to relax. Breakfast was to die for, all homemade with fresh fruits and veggies directly from the garden. Christofer was extremely accommodating and helpful with all information that we needed. We would highly recomend Birikos Hotel.

The apartments are very clean and well thought out with all the facilities you need for a relaxing holiday.
Bedsheets and towels are changed every other day and thoroughly cleaned.
Maria and the family who own the complex are the nicest people you could ever meet, we were greeted with a refreshing drink and pastries and given a huge bunch of grapes from their garden.
The apartments are ideally situated close to a supermarket, ATM and just a gentle stroll to the beach, bars and restaurants.
Getting a sun-bed on the beach was never a problem and if you were a regular they would even reserve it for you, 2 beds and a parasol were 20 euros per day which may seem a little expensive but if you like to sunbathe and stay on them all day it’s worth it.
We used the beds at Nico’s and usually had lunch there as well although you could go anywhere and even bring back food and drink to the beds if you so wished.
We loved the resort and thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break, just be aware there is no promenade and traffic can be quite busy as the small main road to Naxos town runs through there.
For a relaxing drink after a hard days sunbathing try the O Photo bar just a little way up the road for lovely views and a friendly smile from Georgia.

We stayed there for 5 nights in July 2021, we got 1 of the new apartments with sea view, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was superb and the kitchen appliances were new. The pool area is big and a good place to relax after a long day at the beach. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walking from the beach and the bus stop is just outside the Hotel, in case you want to go to Naxos town.
They also serve breakfast, which was delicious and had different options. Our room was beside the main road, so if you are noise sensitive, I would recommend asking for a room in a quieter area. The only thing that disappointment me is that despite the many signs that Smoking is not allowed at the Breakfast area, there was 3 people smoking beside us ( by the looks of it, they were friends with the owners) and they were not asked to put out the cigarette. Overall we have had a great experience and we will definitely come back.

The moment our taxi arrived on the property, Sofia and her mother were waiting in the driveway to greet us. How wonderful to be welcomed by warm smiling faces! They asked us if we wanted fruit, and served us fresh figs, other fruit and Turkish coffee for my husband after we checked in. We had requested a quiet apartment, so we were put in the one in the back, away from the road, which was perfect. Our two-bedroom apartment was one of the recently renovated one, and it was just lovely. The beds were a bit on the hard side for my taste, but upon my request, Sofia put a memory foam on top which made it wonderfully comfortable. The apartment was impeccably clean. The pool are was beautiful- the pool a nice temperature, the swing beds so relaxing. I even did yoga a couple of mornings out on the artificial turf where the swing beds were. The location is absolutely peaceful and beautiful, a few short blocks from Prokopios beach. Along the beach, there are a ton of restaurants, and along the street that you walk down to get to the beach, there are lots of great restaurants, bakeries and cafes as well. It felt like the most charming little beach town. Also there's a supermarket next door, as well as a laundromat. We loved that the hotel was run by a family - Sofia, her husband, her mom and dad, her brother and his wife. You can just feel the warmth of their family and loved seeing their children around the property. The only small suggestion I have (and maybe they weren't provided because of COVID reasons), but I would suggest that a few more basics be provided in the kitchen, like napkins, paper towels and salt/pepper. Other than that, our stay was an absolute dream. Thank you, Sofia and family, for making our vacation in Naxos so wonderful and memorable!

Birikos is a wonderful accomodations option in Agios Prokopios. Maria, the owner, and her family have run this suite/apartment hotel for over 40 years on land that had been in her family for generations. The location is excellent, with a 5 minute walk to the beach and supermarket, gas station, laundry, bakery, and car rental all right next door. The bus stop is right outside the property. The buildings are withdrawn a bit from the main road, with a large garden, pool, and sunbeds. A delicious, hearty, and homemade breakfast with many savory and sweet options is included for all guests. There is plenty of free parking.
Maria and her family are the warmest, kindest, and most helpful people you can imagine, and work tirelessly to delight their guests in every way possible. The rooms are spotless and made up every second day. Some are very recently renovated. We had a one bedroom apartment with a double bed, and 2 single beds in the main living area. It was perfect for a family of 4 with 2 adult children.

A green oasis a stone's throw from the beautiful sea of Agios Prokopios.
We stayed at this property booking a studio at the back on the ground floor with an outdoor table and chairs. There was a fridge and a plate but we never used it.
As soon as you arrive you will be fascinated by the garden and the pool with beautiful sun loungers. The pool was much appreciated by our daughter who in the evening returning from the sea dived. Breakfast super plentiful and great!!! Crepes with nutella, pancakes, homemade fruit cakes, yogurt, savory pies, eggs, cold cuts, cheeses and much more to enjoy in relaxation overlooking the pool and garden. Our studio was cleaned every two days as communicated by the property, it is a quick cleaning and towel change. The Biriko family is very welcoming and helpful and will give you directions on your stay in Naxos.
Useful information:
You can ask for beach towels at the birikos without bringing them from home.
Hair dryer present
Sea games for children available to guests
Possibility to get in touch with car rental that delivers the car directly to Birikos.
Bus stop to Chora in front of the hotel
Supermarket 2 minutes walk
Laundry 2 minutes walk
Agios Prokopios Beach (fantastic) 5 min walk
Agia Ana beach 10 minutes walk.
Center of Agios Prokopios with restaurants and bus stop to Plaka 5 minutes walk.
Overrecommended!
