We are just flying back to NY after an amazing trip to Greece. Our first stop was Naxos where we stayed at 18 Grapes Hotel. I don’t know where to begin to describe our amazing experience at 18 Grapes. From the moment you step foot in the beautiful lobby your journey begins. Sophia at the front desk greets you with a big smile . You are then escorted by another great Sophia to view the beautiful hotel grounds. Since we arrived early we changed and relaxed by the glorious pool which looks exactly as it does in the pictures. We were served our welcome drink and fresh fruit by the pool by yet another wonderful young woman Georgia. Our room was glorious with a private pool and sea view. Again it looked exactly as it appears in the pictures. Our sons were in the adjoining room with two beds. The beds were very comfortable and hotel was very quiet at night. After returning to the pool later in the day we had the pleasure of meeting yet another amazing lady Sonia! The rooftop bar and pool were outstanding and because there are only 18 suites it’s like your private villa! The breakfast each morning was tasty and always fresh! The beach is a short walk from the hotel, there is a small grocery store on the way with an ATM. We also had the pleasure of meeting Maria the owner who was so warm and friendly. All of the ladies treated you like you were part of their family. Warm and caring, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had on a family vacation. I would highly recommend this hotel and Naxos to anyone traveling to Greece. Thank you to Sonia, Sophia, Sophia, Georgia and Marina! The Swanson Family July 209

This hotel is the full package. The service is warm and welcoming, the rooms pristine, the location great, the resort is relaxing. This was our favorite hotel during a two week tour of Greece. We would highly recommend!

18 Grapes is about 200 yards away from Agios Prokofios- not beach front, but very accessible on foot. The decor is chic, modern and minimal. Underneath it is very much a family run place- so keep that in mind with expectations. The staff is very sweet and goes out of their way, lugging luggage up and down the stairs one minute, cooking your lunch the next. We had a 4 night stay here. The sea view room we had was not ready on the day 1. They compensated us with a hotel food/bev voucher which is very fair. Ironically, the sea view room we eventually got was actually smaller than the replacement room the first night. For a family, it was a bit less comfortable. The pull out sofa was definitely less comfortable than a second queen bed. Had I known, I would have stayed in the first room. Staff helped us arrange for car rental which was seamless (delivery and drop off at hotel). They even packed a small breakfast for us as we had to leave before the restaurant opened on the least day. The pool looked nice- there is no shade all day so we did not use it. It was so hot and sunny when we visited, we had to wear sunglasses as soon as we exited the room, as the walls were very white and reflective! All in all, it is a very nice place and probably one of the better hotels in Agios Prokofios.

The best way to describe this hotel is understated luxury. We had a fantastic 5 night stay at the 18 Grapes Hotel in Naxos. The service was excellent and there is a real sense of it being family run and owned. Our room was clean and spacious with a good sized balcony and sea view. The atmosphere is very relaxed and food excellent. We ate most meals in the hotel as there was a big menu so lots of choices. The hotel is very quiet which suited us perfectly - we often had the main pool to ourselves during the day as many people seemed to disappear for the day. The second smaller pool and bar area has a great sunset view and we had dinner there a couple of times. The owner(s) also own a vineyard and local restaurant (Gorgona) which is well worth a visit - you will receive a fantastic welcome.

Stunning and sophisticated hotel with wonderful, attentive staff. Generous little extras like complimentary local wine at arrival and departure, surprise local aperitif waiting in our room one night. Lovely pool- refreshing and clean, quaint breakfast area. Exceptional rooms, thoughtfully designer, rooms with jacuzzi or pool in the deck available. Pristine property! Walkable to beachfront with tons of restaurants. Our family (3 adult children) of 5 loved this amazing and relaxing property.
