Sadly we had to cut our Greece trip short due to various islands being added to England’s quarantine list so we only got to spend one night here despite having booked for longer. The property definitely has the ‘Wow’ factor and feels like a 5* hotel. The pool area, in particular, is gorgeous. Certainly during our stay the clientele seemed to be mainly young people in their twenties and thirties who fancied themselves as social media influencers and were very pretentious. I am all for live and let live but many of them omitted to wear face masks in the public areas of the hotel such as in reception and it was disappointing that the hotel staff did not challenge them on this bearing in mind there is signage positioned all around the hotel making it clear that face masks must be worn in public places. We had a lovely room overlooking the pool with the sea in the distance. The bed was comfortable and the furnishings were minimalistic but luxurious. The breakfast service was a bit hit-and-miss. We didn’t get some of the items we ordered and had to follow others up. The food we did get was really good quality though. We also had some food one evening at the hotel - the club sandwich was superb if not slightly expensive at €19 but Mykonos is a very expensive island. My only slight grievance about our stay is that when we asked about the local bus service the staff member who checked us in was very dismissive and instead tried to encourage us to use the hotel’s private transfer service - which is costly. He made out that the bus service was infrequent and unreliable, which is not the case. There is a perfectly good bus service on the island and you can alight the bus down the hill from the hotel at Agios Stefanos beach. I don’t know why he was not honest with us - perhaps guests using the bus does not sit with the hotel’s image or perhaps they are simply trying to make as much money as possible but pushing the hotel’s own transfer service on you. We did use the hotel’s transfer service to get from the port to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. We were transported in a swanky Mercedes vehicle but the cost was very high - €50 to the airport which is about 5km from the hotel!

I recently stayed at Mykonos Princess Hotel and I enjoyed it so much! The rooms are incredible, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the beach is just 2 minutes away! You can go walking and the hotel provides you with a beach bag with towels! Super comfortable! The breakfast was also delicious and the area is really quiet, so you get to relax. Though it is just 5 minutes away from the Mykonos town with a taxi! I will certainly go back to this hotel and I would highly recommend it!!

We simply can't find enough great things to say about the Mykonos Princess. Our June holiday got pushed back to September due to covid but wow it was worth the wait! Irene was fantastic at liaising via email about changing the dates and was happy to recommend restaurants etc before we arrived. On arrival, we got upgraded to the honeymoon suite which really was incredible! Alex, George and Sakis could not do enough for us around the pool all day and made the holiday that bit more perfect. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough and hope we will be back one day!
