The hotel is situated a little way from town, but it is in a very pleasant location. The accommodation consists of to storey apartments a short walk up a hill to reception and the dining area. As a small hotel the dining and breakfast choices are rather limited but fine and the service is good. Rooms are rather small but... More

An old accommodation but the staff make the experience much better. They went out of their way to make us happy. Everyone from the bell boys to the management, the evening show is something else! Never got to use the pool so I cannot comment. The food was Ok but the dining area was a little crowded. It is set... More

1st impressions were of a widely spaced housing estate (the rooms are in little blocks of 4) in rolling parkland but then we went in and things looked up from then on. It is one of the lowest starred hotels used on our tour and in just 1 night became a favourite. That was down to the staff who were... More

We were travelling as part of a group and had been warned that the hotel was basic. The rooms were a reasonable size and quite comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, the main quirk being no shower gel. We had shampoo, body lotion and dental gel, which totally confused some of our group, much to the amusement of the others. We... More

... whilst it was a nice tranquil area with the odd bit of wildlife in your room, (frog, lizard, spider), but this was no problem. The rooms themselves were however basic and very dated with poor plumbing. All the staff were very obliging but unfortunately the food was not up to much, plus it ran out which was just as... More

Much more pleasant than we had been led to expect. We arrived a little late in the day to enjoy the ample grounds of this old plantation. The main reception and restaurant bar building is set on a small rise above the rest of the grounds where there are a number (6-8?) of individual modern two-story buildings each with individual... We only stayed one night here as part of a tour. The rooms are clean, if a little old fashioned but everything you need for a comfortable stay. The buffet was average, but this is Cuba so par for the course The show put on by the staff was very entertaining. We all had a great evening. This is not... More

On our tour we were told this was a pretty basic 2 star hotel. It has been built on an old plantation and there are separate buildings of 4 or 6 rooms in blocks nothing more than 2 stories. Our room was very comfortable and very clean. We were warned that sometimes the local wild life might chose to share... More

Not sure if we stayed in the same hotel as some of the earlier reviewers, we found it to be fine for an overnight stay. The welcome was a bit quirky,we were given o fresh brewed cup of tea and a jam roll, accompanyied by staff singing. Food was fine,we slept well, shower and aircon worked.Maybe a little dated, and one of... More

There isn't much more to say that hasn't been said already .We stopped off just for a one night stay, pleased it was only one night, as the accommodation was below par .We were warned that this hotel was basic and may not be the standard experienced in other hotels. But oozes character and along with the friendliness of the staff...
