Lovely authentic chateau in the middle of the countryside with a small lake. A warm welcome from the owner who gave us lots of history of their chateau and the renovations. We had the "Suite des Angelots" with sitting room and large bathroom with plenty of space that was in the whole wing of the chateau- the first night was...

We spent a week here during the summer - the chateau makes a great base to explore the rest of Brittany. Most places are quite a drive away but easily do-able in a day. The chateau itself is incredible and has been wonderfully restored. The grounds provide an excellent place to enjoy the sunshine, with fishing, barbecuing and hot-tubbing all...

The property and the history should be rated a five. The quality/condition of the existing remodel a three and the quality of the breakfast a three. We had the rose room which was very large made up of two rooms and a bathroom along the width of one end of the Chateau. The sleep quality of the bed was excellent....

The chateau is amazing and the grounds beautiful. I stayed there with my mum, and rented the whole place for a week, and it was perfect. When i went there many years ago, and came back again, it was like re-living an adventure. it seems that every time i go back, there is something new to discover. when i was...

The building and grounds are fantastic, there is so much character. We stayed in the room Blanche Hermine and the rest of our party stayed in the suite Les Angelots. The suite was huge, with a separate living room and a very large bathroom. The glasses in our room were smeared and dirty and overall it felt that things could...

A group of ten of us rented out the whole chateau for a week and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in winter and were worried it might be a bit cold, but all the rooms were well heated apart from the entrance hall/stairwell which didnt matter to us. The bedrooms are huge and very comfortable and there are more...

I usually do not complain of the hotels I go, because I know more or less what to expect: if I pay little, if I choose a one star hostel, I know what I will find ... This place really goes beyond all expectations, obviously in the negative. A castle? The place is quite like the worst hotels I have...

The rooms are so beautifull and look so perfect That you have the feeling you are in the past or in a museum. The surounding is very quiet you can join the silence and nature and walk round the Castle. The hospitality was big, staying there feels almost like home. The people let you free, that was also very nice....

I was surprised to read disappointing reviews of the place. I didn't have GPS and I found it very easy to find by car, just asking a local or two, with my few words of French. We arrived late evening. When I asked Daniel if I could get a glass of wine, he wrinkled his eyebrows - and invited us...
