Stayed at the Brandon for one night, which was more than enough. The bar and restaurant were open to the public, on arrival found the door crowded by people drinking and smoking which made for an intimidating welcome. When we went to the restaurant for our evening meal, there were guys who were obviously regulars drinking in the bar and...

The hotel is well located in the heart of Brandon, Suffolk and is a typical large Georgian country house, well appointed with period features but needing the inevitable maintenance activities, some of which are unfortunately becoming obvious by their lack of attention. The staff were very welcoming and accomodating of our wishes and we had a wonderful evening meal prepared...

I've stayed at Brandon House a couple of times while away on business. The rooms are comfortable and quite and i got a good nights sleep. The bathrooms can look a little dated but are clean and well maintained. The breakfast is cooked to order and is always piping hot and a full plate. I will happily be using this...

Visited Brandon to see relatives before Christmas. Arrived Sunday evening but had to go out again as restaurant not open sunday evening. Our room was snug, (no room for a wardrobe) but the bed was comfy. The shower was over the bath and worked from bath taps so pressure was low. As we were only staying 2 nights it didn't...

Despite booking two double rooms, my room was very small. Daughter took a bath and...

I used to live near here and often wondered what this imposing building would be like to stay in so was looking forward to our overnight stay on short tour of East Anglia. It remains an imposing building inside albeit one that is a little dog-eared and in need of some TLC. Large rooms with high ceilings, as you would...
