Nola was a magnificent, considerate and kindly host, offering tea and cookies on arrival, turning our bedroom heaters on when we arrived home late one night, offering to make us breakfast even at 6am when we had to leave early (we gratefully declined), and being understanding when I forgot to leave my key! Exley House is about a 25-30min walk... More

I stayed for three nights at Exley House. The host was generous and provided wonderful breakfasts as well as quiet, warm, clean and comfortable bedroom, sitting and dining area. Exley House is close to Stirling Highway, with its restaurants, cinema and other local attractions. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Exxley House as a party of four (two couples) and were very pleased with the hospitality and comfort offered. The rooms are beautifully appointed and decorated with original touches in in the style of the original Federation home . Our room had french doors opening out onto the verandah and garden and an ensuite tiled bathroom with... More

I recently spent almost a week at Exley House and highly recommend it as a wonderful place to stay. Nola and Kim are great hosts. They are warm and welcoming, yet provide privacy throughout the stay. On my arrival, Nola provided me with coffee and cookies on the veranda overlooking their beautiful garden (tea was also an option). After I... More

This beautiful old home (the original built in 1930) is nestled in a quiet street behind Stirling Highway which leads into the centre of Perth. The ensuite room where we spent one night has a large bathroom with a full range of toiletries, a rain shower and French doors which lead onto a private veranda overlooking a small pretty garden.... Located in a separate, private wing of a lovely Nedlands home, you cannot go past Exley House B&B for cleanliness, convenience and Nola's warm welcome. The wide veranda is a perfect place for reading, for doing a puzzle or doing nothing at all and for catching the afternoon breeze (the Fremantle Doctor) surrounded by the beautiful cottage garden so carefully... This is a great B&B that has it all: a beautiful home, privacy, cleanliness, character, and great food. It is also within walking distance to UWA which made it so convenient for me. Other plus points include the fact that there is a post office, grocery store, and pharmacy within one block; however, they are tucked out of sight. The... More

I chose this accommodation in order to visit relations nearby. The wealth of positive reviews pretty much sums up the delightful nature of my stay, the owners being most hospitable and helpful, while at the same time not imposing, but allowing sufficient space and privacy. This privacy is exemplified by the layout of the house, with a thoughtful design permitting... More

My husband and I have just spent 4 nights at Exley House and it is so much more than a B n B. We were very lucky in that we were the only visitors and it may be different if sharing with strangers. We basically had a spotless character home with sweeping verandahs to ourselves as the entrance is completely... More

I chose Exley House because it was close to the medical centre I had to go to and I wasn't looking forward to that trip to the city, but as soon as I arrived at the B&B I completely relaxed. The house is beautiful, spacious, very private, and so quiet. The bathroom looks like something out of a luxurious castle.... More
