Villa Selvatico in an ancient Villa Veneta dating back to the fifteen century, surrounded by a large garden and by a working farm. A confortable accomodation is given by 5 self-catering apartments and one double bedroom. A nice swimming pool with solarium is available for the guests from May to September, as well as some bicycles, spaces for outdoor living and a BBQ area. This location is most suitable for a relaxing countryside holiday, but also a good base if you wish visiting the Veneto Region, being sited few km from Padua (10) and Venice (25), and not so far from Vicenza, Verona and Treviso. The highway and railway are at just 10 minutes by car; the bus stop is at 500 meters.

Detailed Reviews
My wife and I had a wonderful six night stay at Agriturismo Villa Selvatico in early May of 2022. We stayed in the La Serra apartment which is detached from the main estate house. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, bright and well equipped . It had a delightful private patio and was close to the swimming pool but shielded from it by trees. Our host Alessandra was very helpful, giving us recommendations for places to visit and sights to see. She also made restaurant reservations for us since our command of Italian especially on the telephone is weak. Villa Selvatico is perfectly situated to visit many destinations as day trips via car: Padova 21min; Stra 20min, Venice 30 min; Castelfranco and Cittadella 22 min; Bassano del grappa 47 min; Treviso 46 min; Valpolicella 1hr 20min; Ferrara 1hr. We enjoyed walking along the Fuime Tergola which runs thru middle of the estate. You can walk or bicycle on the trails along the fuime for many kilometers or walk into Battaglia Terme and buy a great loaf of bread from the bakery.
We dined at two very good restaurants that were a five minute drive away: Nalin Tradizione E Cucina and Osterio Moderno. And we used the fully equipped kitchen to prepare breakfast every morning and dinner several evenings. We highly recommend this agriturismo.

Very beautiful villa well located for visiting Venice and Padua. There were 8 of us staying in the largest accommodation. Functional with large volumes and xxl beds (except the sofa in the living room, which deserves to be replaced). Dolo station is 15 minutes away and the journey to Santa Lucia station costs only 3.90 euros.

First of all the most important thing : Villa Selvatico is a wonderful place and Alessandra is a caring host.
But I would like to add a couple of things however : during our stay there were also dutch people.
I don’t know how they behave at home but when they are abroad they behave like rude people and they don’t care about other people.
For example at the swimming pool they scream, play and do not leave enough place for other people to swim.
I had already seen this kind of behaviour in France.

We spent a week with our extended family in Villa Selvatico. We had two appartments: La Serra and Le Magnolie and everything was just perfect!
We were 8 adults and 4 children and there was plenty of room for all!
We had only one car, so most of us were relying on public tranportation. This was no problem at all. About five minutes' walk to the nearest bus stop, where a local bus (1,90€) ran every hour to Padova. It took less than 30 minutes to get to the Padova main railway station, where cheap and easy connections took us to Vicenza, Venice, Verona etc.
In our opinion, no need for a rental car! Expect on Sunday, when the local buses didn't operate.
The villa was beautiful! Flowers, wine vines, pool, football field, river, birds...
The rooms were super clean and modern. everything worked perfectly and it was easy to cook dinner in the evening together. The kitchens were fully equipped.
The nearest village was S.Andrea, 10 minutes walk and you could get fresh bread, fish, pizzas, ice cream... everything form there.
Bikes could be borrowed and there were beautiful sceanic routes to be followed by foot or bike.
Definitely recommended!

We loved the place!! it was a real surprise. We got the Fogher apartment, clean, spacious, well positioned. The land is big so there is a pool with lots of space around it, lots of trees and grass and we even had a BBQ and table and chairs outside our apartment. I believe there are a 4 more apartments but you do not feel you live with other people. Its very quiet and secluded, but not too too far from Padova center. The only regret is tat they do not serve food, that is why I did not put a 5 stars. The host is very nice as well as her helpers, always smiling and there to help.

Our family spent 2 weeks at this elegant villa in the three bedroom apartment called le Magnolie. It was absolutely gorgeous. Beautifully decorated with a very modern renovated interior, it had so much space for all of us. The gardens are so beautiful with lots of chairs under the trees to sit and gaze at the veneto countryside. It is a working farm and everyone is welcome to pick the fruit and vegetables that are in season. The owners are very kind and always there to help with car hire or advice on just about anything you would need to make your stay more enjoyable. We loved the locals too and on our walks to the small town of St Andrea we would stop and chat to them. We would catch the local bus into Padua every day (15 minutes) and from there we could catch the train to just about anywhere we wanted to go for the day. We visited Venice, Verona, Lake Garda, Bologna, Bassano del Grappa and the amazing Eugenean hills with medieval walled towns that took our breath away. It was always lovely to come back to the peace and quiet of the villa. Would recommend it to all. Car advised.

We spent four nights at Villa Selvatico with our family and it was our favorite spot of all our wonderful lodgings - Hotels, B&Bs and apartments - in England, France, Switzerland and Italy. We found it was beautiful, peaceful and clean, with plenty of options for exercise, play, relaxation, or taking in some of the best tourist sights imaginable in Venice and Padova. You need a car here, but groceries and amenities are nearby and easy to find. Venice was so easy to get to from the Dolo train station. The host family was very helpful and kind. We look forward to going back!

We stayed in Le Magnolie, a very large apartment with beautiful views across the gardens and very comfortable beds. Set in large gardens with fruit trees and stunning views, you really feel you are out in the country, even though, the shops and supermarket is only minutes away. Easy access to Padua, Verona, Lake Garda and Venice. The beach at Sottomarina in less than an hour away, but worth a visit, sandy with some great waves! we travelled with 2 teenagers and a 10 year old, and there was something for everyone. Venice is only 30 mins away by train, and its very cheap to get there, only 3 euros per person, so very affordable. Only downside, is this apartment is up 3 flights of steps, so not really suitable for less abled people and it does not lend itself to Alfresco dining, as there is only 1 BBQ shared between 5 appts, and one outside eating area also shared, and there are a lot of mosquitos. We loved it here, and would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I stayed in La Serra, (they converted the stables into a free standing one bedroom residence) for a week. We were looking for a unique, small hotel within a 2 hour drive of some of the other cities we wanted to see. Agriturismo fit that bill perfectly. The owner and manager were very helpful, and the villa was always cleaned. After a long day of driving and sight seeing, La Serra was our home away from home.
We chose Agriturismo because we were able to take day trips from Verona to Caorle and places in between. The drives were lovely and the cities were great. But, sometimes you just want to stay at your hotel, relax, enjoy a good book and not go out to a restaurant for dinner. At Agriturismo you can do just that and have the perfect day. It has a nice pool, an orchard, a huge lawn and is next to a bike path. Since you have your own kitchen it is the perfect place to take a vacation from your vacation, which we did.
We ended up being the needy guests and the owner and manager were always there for us. I forgot to print out our tickets for an opera in Verona, they let me print them out. We got a parking ticket and they helped us pay that online. Finally, we locked ourselves out one day and they let us back in.
While they may not want us back, we would happily go back.
