One of the best tzimmer's we have stayed in. Beautiful room and garden. Well maintained and run with love and dedication. The hosts are so generous and helpful. The breakfast was all homemade and absolutely delicious. So many extra thoughts in the room such as homemade cake, biscuits, fruit, snacks etc. Highly recommend! A truly relaxing get away in the western Galilee.

Come be delighted by the lush surroundings, beautifully designed and decorated, perfectly private and warmly hosted inn in the western Galilee near many interesting villages and attractions. Tamar is a fine cook who serves generous amounts of breakfast goodies, enough for another light meal if you wrap up the leftovers for later. We enjoyed her relaxed manner and interesting conversation as well as the tour of Yaron’s wine cellar and corkscrew collection and tasting from his traditional hand-made wine. Our room was comfortable and tastefully adorned in the Tuscan style with a private garden just outside the sliding door. The Montfort Castle park entrance is just minutes from the inn and offers a lovely hike and stunning views. There are many other options for hikers in the surrounding hills and along the Lebanese border. The seaside cities of Akko, Nahariya, and Rosh HaNikra as well as nearby Maalot -Tarshiha are readily accessible by excellent roads if you are in search of history, entertainment and restaurants. We highly recommend the quiet charm and wonderful accommodations and hope to pay Tamar and Yaron a return visit soon.

This is the nicest romantic place I've stayed in , in the Galil. Tamar and Yaron are wonderful hosts. We were treated to a private tour of their cellar, built by Yaron, who is also the vigneron. makes delicious wine, similar to Portuguese fortified reds. The suite was surrounded by a lovingly maintained garden, .Interior so carefully thought through, with attention to every small detail including treats, wine, kitchen, candles, firewood: We didn't want to leave but a special touch of home grown avocados perched on the car to farewell us, made such a sweet parting. So looking forward to a return very soon. THANK YOU Tamar and Yaron.

This place is a real wonder and paradise and allow you to disconnect yourself from the daily pressure at the same moment you re going inside the suite and the exceptionnal gardens belonging to it . Tamar the landlord is an exceptionnal woman welcoming her guests with all her human heart and giving them the feeling of being at home and ready to answer to all their need . The suites are very well designed with a special and personnal touch by tamar and her husband . This place in Mitzpe Hila has luxurious standards and high quality facilities designed for guests seeking relaxation , high quality vacations and nature .Tamar & Gefen is an exemple of what should be the Israeli zimmer industry and the landlords are a proof of the beatiful Israelis which make us proud to be Israeli citizens . Tamar @ gefen is a AAA resort in the Galil region and a rare high quality jewel in the Israeli tourism branch . We should be the ambassador of Tamar @ gefen which is a living proof of professionality , high value , honesty , very special design and the real Israeli welcoming behaviour of its landlords .

This is our 2nd time with Tami and Yaron at Tamar & Gefen.It's the best place you can stay in, if you tour the western Galilee in Israel. A delicious breakfast, perfect privacy, beautifully designed room and garden with extra care of the details. Ask Yaron to see the winery and try his tasty wine. There's a lot to see in the area of the western Galilee, don't miss it.

Huby and I decided to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary in a nice tzimmer and what a treat. The couple who runs the place not only warmly welcomed us with fresh fruits / coffee / cold beverages and delicious homemade breakfast in the room - they welcomed us to the winery and the cave and offered us unlimited access to their delicious wine ! They were charming, extremely nice and adapted to our special "shomrei Shabbat" needs (we could only leave the room at the end of Shabbat on Saturday around 20h30 instead of the usual 12h00 and it was no pb at all) the room itself was the cutest thing - the private little garden was like a dream come true. The jacuzzi and the two sun chairs on the private balcony in the garden were also amazing!! We warmly recommend this place both for the amazing people and the wonderful place! A wonderful quiet and relaxing experience with the most amazing view !!

This is a very special place. With only 3 suites, Tamy and her husband are doing everything to make sure your stay is perfect. The wine, the suite, the view, the terrasse, the breakfast, the sound system, the bathroom, the service and finally the atmosphere.

We spent 2 spring nights on our wedding anniversary. The room had a cute garden with an outdoor hot-tab.
The hospitality was amazing! All details are taught about, small snacks and treats are served, including a home made wine. We had chocolates in the fridge and a selection of Nespresso capsules.
I loved the quiet location, a real Galilee gem!

This is probably the best zimmer we have ever stayed at. The premises, the attitude, the quiet, the attention to small details, all of these more than warrant the above description. Such was our pleasure, that we added an extra night to the previously planned stay. One thing is on our minds now - when can we make it again?
