Parīlio, a Member of Design Hotels, the name of which is derived from ‘Paros’ and the Greek word for the sun ‘ilios’, is a 33-suite retreat characterized by Paros’ timeless simplicity surrounded by amberhued fields, araucaria trees and, of course, the impossibly blue waters of the Aegean Sea. The property is characterized by the island’s distinctive architecture and its interiors are defined by a soothing, tonal color palette and natural materials. Contemporary Greek design pieces sit alongside objets d’art by leading European designers, while striking ceramics sourced from the Marrakech-based studio of LRNCE serve to inspire and provoke conversation. Distinctive structural features such as arches, concrete columns, and thick masonry are representative of traditional building techniques and help to create a sense of sanctuary, resulting in a space that is both cathartic and elemental. For those looking to fully embrace the slowpaced Cycladic way of living, the on-site Asian spa offers the ultimate time out with facial and body treatments that incorporate an Asian-inspired mix of essential oils. Featuring state-of-the-art equipment, the fitness center is ideal for guests who wish to be active and fit during their vacation. Mr. E invites you to taste the island’s famed gastronomic legacy in a space embraced by a verdant, natural environment and ample Cycladic light, surrounded by the wild beauty of Paros’ pastoral landscape. Created by celebrated Chef, Alexandros Tsiotinis, Mr. E is a treat of casual elegance, serving fresh, seasonal Greek and Mediterranean cuisine inspired by the island’s natural bounty. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The poolside bar offers an array of refreshing beverages, creative cocktails as well as favorite snacks and is ideal to unwind by day and night.

The hotel is as beautiful as it looks in the photos. The pool area is fantastic, the loungers are plush, the pool is seriously inviting and refreshing and there is a good selection of food and drink from the pool bar. The staff were very good at keeping us hydrated and frequently topped us up with iced water, without being intrusive on our quiet time. There were a mixture of age ranges among the guests, extended families, families with babies and children, and couples, but the pool area was large enough for everyone and it never felt crowded or noisy when we stayed.
We picked the hotel because it was a design hotel and enjoyed the carefully chosen furniture, colour palate and design touches.
Our stay was not perfect, but we had such a wonderful time, I still want to review the hotel positively and encourage other people to visit. We had a problem with the hotel being able to take payment from us at pre-arrival and again at checkout. This was very stressful and embarrassing. It also happened to the lady checking out next to us at the same time.
The breakfast is a la carte and we loved that it was served until late in the morning - 11.30. Mr E's was good, but we enjoyed eating in some of the local restaurants that the hotel recommended to us too.
This hotel is ideal if you want to sit by the pool for hours. If you want to explore the island and don't want to drive, taxis are easy to organise via the hotel's WhatsApp service. We paid 15 euros each way to Naoussa. The hotel doesn't offer any free transfers to/from the port/airport so expect to pay 60 euros to/from the airport and 50 to/from the port.
This is overall though an excellent hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay and would certainly return.

We kicked off our honeymoon with 4 days/nights at Parilio and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a luxurious (without the stuffiness) and relaxing stay with easy access to beaches and a walkable city (Naoussa).

Welcome and General Care
After 14 hours of travel we were welcomed by the nicest and most caring group of people. They were aware of our state of mind (read as ‘very tired from traveling’) and suggested we check in, see the room, and hit the pool — holding the more official “here’s a map of Paros and everything to do” until after we settled in. Vaya (and the entire staff) were so easy to work with, made us feel completely at home, and made our stay very relaxing and easy.
We would highly recommend downloading the hotel app and communicating via WhatsApp as it allowed us to request/change any dinner reservation, breakfast time, taxi, excursion, etc.
We can’t stress it enough that the care and service were exceptional, not at all stuffy, and made our stay in Paros one to remember.

Food
We dined at Mr. E everyday for breakfast (in the restaurant itself), 3 lunches/snacks (all poolside), 1 for dinner (in the restaurant), and 1 dessert (room service). Every meal was really delicious. All menus were different, so we didn’t feel like we were repeating meals, and offered a variety of fresh, healthy, or “I’m on vacation” options. Would recommend the açaí bowl for breakfast, any of the salads or club sandwich or crab sandwich for lunch, and the papardelle or fish option for dinner.

Amenities
We enjoyed the pool everyday and the attentiveness of the pool/bar staff was perfection. No issue getting chairs, towels, or poolside service. The pool was a beautiful temperature and offered really nice views of the mountainside and clear blue skies. We didn’t feel like there was a long wait for anything (drinks, food) and we’re going to miss how relaxed and calm the vibe was.

We also had a couples massage and got the hand/foot and hair/scalp massages as the “extra” 20 minute options. The spa experience was very peaceful, very relaxing, and felt like a really nice “treat yourselves” gift.

We also used the gym 2 days and felt like the facilities were clean, well air conditioned, and easy to reserve via the app.

Excursions
We rented an ATV (with help from the Parilio staff) and drove it to Santa Maria Beach (again, Parilio staff helped us reserve a beach table/chairs) and Naoussa for 2 dinners. The hotel is located 6-8 minute drive to Naoussa and it is very convenient from that perspective. We also utilized the hotel van prior to renting the ATV and found that service easy to book via WhatsApp.

Overall we’ve never written a review this long but we feel it’s important to share our experience as our stay at Parilio was wonderful and the staff made our trip feel so perfect.

Thank you all so much for making our stay so relaxing and fun!

The hotel is fantastic! What made our stay really perfect was the superb and super friendly service. Specially Vaya at the reception. Her recommendations, reservations at different restaurants and beach clubs around the island pimped our holiday to Vip status. Everywhere we arrived, people jumped up to serve us just by mentioning “Parilio reservation”
Thanks Vaya. Now on Mykonos... curious to see if we’ll get the same treatment??

It’s hard to imagine how it can get any better than this. The hotel design is crisp, modern, and appropriate to its stunning setting. Staff are friendly and professional without being false or overbearing.

Each room is one half of a villa style block on ground or first floor. We stayed for 5 nights. 2 in an entry level Aurora suite, at ground floor with a beautiful private garden. The room is spacious, bright, and fresh with windows to front and back. Our final 3 nights were in a Uranus suite, which are on the first level and include an outdoor terrace with a spacious hot tub and stunning views. From our experience all rooms are fantastic, so it depends on how much you want to treat yourself, however everyone will have a fantastic experience. The standard of cleaning and service is the best I have seen in Greece, so friendly, so efficient, completed during when you are eating breakfast and again when you leave for dinner. A daily treat in your room - it just sets the hotel apart from other supposedly 5 star locations - hence my 6 star heading.

Irrespective of which room you stay in, you will spend most of your day lazing by the pool or exploring. The only problem being that the pool vibe, design and service are so outstanding it is hard to leave. Staff here were particularly good, attentive at all times, seeing how they can help before you knew you needed anything without being pushy. Drinks are excellent and reasonable for this hotel level.

Breakfast is a highlight of this hotel. Excellent range, great service, served in the beautiful restaurant. The evening offer is also served here and again is exceptionally good and reasonably priced.

This hotel must be in a league of its own in Paros, and sets the benchmark for others to follow.

We want to thank everyone at the Parilio for making our stay at the hotel relaxed and enjoyable.

Our room - a Halo - was to a simple design but extremely comfortable with a large terrace which offered a pleasant spot to read and unwind.

Breakfast was delicious with plenty of interesting choices and everyone who served us was friendly and competently trained.

I had a lovely massage and we all enjoyed the pool area.
Lunch by the pool was interesting and delicious too and a calm alternative to the bustle of Naoussa.

This was our second visit to the Parilio and we noticed that the team led by GM Dimitris Alexakis was much the same to last year. They are a young team but are clearly very well trained and a compliment to Dimitris’ skills as a manager. We noticed that he was very much visible on the premises, keeping a close eye and making sure all guests were well looked after.

A final thank you also for going beyond the call of duty when our flight was cancelled at short notice and we suddenly needed a place to stay!

We genuinely look forward to our next visit.

When we first arrived we had a couple of hiccups. There was an electrical issue with the room and they considered moving us elsewhere. After a bumpy start they were able to fix the issue and we had the most pleasant stay. This is a hotel that I want to return to over and over again. I found the staff to be incredibly nice, even though at times they missed some things. For example, once we asked them to call us a taxi (through WhatsApp texting which we found to be a quite convenient method of communication in general) and they said they would, and then a few minutes later we arrived at the front desk and they seemed confused about whether a car had been called yet (it had not). On the other hand, the staff was always willing to assist with any request and they had good suggestions (we liked going to the nearby private beach of Monasteri which they hotel had recommended; other beaches may be “better” but this was very close to the hotel and very nice for our purposes). The porters would rush to help with our bags, the pool attendants were attentive and always brought little refreshments, and the hotel driver (an extra cost but worth it) was so nice and helpful. The room (we had a Halo Suite) was perfectly designed and we loved our large patio area (most rooms seemed to have these). The whole design of the hotel was beautiful and I couldn’t stop taking pictures! Oh and there is a chic little lobby store that had THE best curated little goodies. I couldn’t help but pick up a few items…more than once. The breakfast at the hotel is also fantastic - maybe my favorite of all of Greece. The menu isn’t extensive but everything tasted great, and they made the best freddos I had the whole trip. I can see how some other comments about confusing service would make you think twice about booking but do not be deterred. For us, the little hiccups were not a problem that detracted from our overall stay. Paros is our new favorite island and when we come back we will return to Parilio!

I totally recommend Parilio to anyone traveling to Paros. It's by far the best hotel in the island, if not Cyclades. Completely in love with the interior. The hotel has a pleasant, soothing ambiance and you get a 'home away from home' feeling. Every single staff member is extremely polite and helpful. The spa is a must!!! The massages and facials are very well priced, they use amazing products and the spa therapists are not only the sweetest and most polite girls but also very very competent. Will be coming back for sure!

From the first moment you arrive at this hotel on Paros, you will be blown away by its refined beauty, which embodies cycladic simplicity. There are clean lines everywhere you look and beautifully manicured plant life to compliment it all. The hotel is large and airy, allowing guests to roam throughout its grounds and also letting in lots of warm sun at perfect angles. Furthermore, the hotel is in a great location, nestled between Naoussa and Parikia, allowing easy access to both. The famous Kolibithres beach is just a stone’s throw away as well and it only took us 15 minutes from the hotel to reach the iconic village of Lefkes. The room was especially spacious and comfotable, with a coffee machine, lots snacks and a modern design that complimented the polished exteriors. Even better were the amenities, with the pool being a special highlight. Seriously, there is a reason this hotel was featured on the cover of Condé Nast- it is an architectural delight. Although there is much to see on Paros, part of me wanted to just spend my trip at the hotel. The staff in particular were probably the friendliest I have ever met. Every single one of them, from those at the front desk to those by the pool and even the woman running the lobby’s shop were all a delight to be around and totally enhanced our stay. It is rare that I have felt so welcome at a hotel and I have to commend their impeccable service, which was both efficient and personalized. I doubt there exists a better stay on Paros and if any of the staff are reading this, thank you for making the finale of our trip such a delight.

We stayed there during a short trip in Paros in July 2023.
Upon our arrival we experienced an excellent first impression with its huge pool and the welcome service.
We stayed in a Uranus Suite which was very spacious and smart equipped. I was impressed with the beige porcelain floor tiles and the furnitures of the separate sitting room.
The bath was very modern with two basins and a rainfall shower.
The fitness room is equipped with all the necessary machines for your daily gym routine (elliptical, treadmill, rowing machines, dumbbells etc).
I booked a massage therapy which was really great.
There is also an excellent restaurant helmed by the executive chef A. Tsiotinis which uses the freshest local produce.
The staff was very professional. All the people tried their best to make our stay unforgettable.

Fantastic hotel, even more beautiful than the photos. Food is excellent and the staff goes out of their way to elevate your experience. We stayed in the Sun Suite for two nights which is fantastic for those looking for ultimate privacy. We then moved to a lower tier room but were given a complimentary upgrade to the Aurora suite which was much appreciated. It had a nice patio with a jacuzzi. The concierge helped us book restaurants and beach reservations, as well as a rental car. Couldn’t have asked for more and would recommend Parilio in a heartbeat to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation!
