After a long trip down to the Great Southern and just wanting to get to our destination it was with such joy that we found out exactly where this gorgeous place was. It started with a lovely text message advising us when the cottage would be available, very personal in this day and age, on our journey down. Then we...

My partner and I stayed for 6 nights in Cakes and Ale, a perfect little cottage. It was well-equipped for someone who loves to cook. The nearby beaches and walks were magnificent as were some of the nearby eateries such as Catelli Winery and Cosy Corner Cafe.

Maybe it was the company (my fiancé) but I think the lovely cottage had a lot to do with it. Roomy, beautifully appointed, spa bath, wood fire and peaceful secluded setting. The perfect getaway. We also enjoyed the evening meal delivered to the cottage - a fish curry. It's close enough to the town of Denmark and to Albany to...

I stayed 2 nights after crossing the Nullabor from northern N SW. Travelling with my elderly dog. Gaynor was there to greet me after my long day's drive and was sensitive to my fatigue. She later walked over in the dark to deliver a DVD which I enquired about late! The Snug was perfect for us, warm and spacious with...

My Mum & I were delighted to stay in Cape Howe Cottages' "Wardroom" cottage during a recent trip to Denmark & Albany. What a magnificent location - I couldn't believe you could see no trace of any other cottage, person or vehicle from the accommodation - so secluded and relaxing with a stunning view out to the ocean, mountain ranges,...

We stated for a long weekend at the Snug Cottage. We arrived early evening after a long drive from Perth. Gaynor gave us the introduction to the cottage and even left us with a pair of binoculars for checking out the birdlife. The kitchen has an wood burning stove and there was a wood shed outside where we could help...

We have just spent 5 days over Easter at the cottages. It was the most peaceful place and was just what we needed. From the booking, to the checking out, our hosts were most helpful. We ordered the breakfast and were not disappointed. The bread was still warm! The icing on the cake was the basket of Easter eggs hanging...

It was a pleasure to host SydneyDreamer and his friends during their explorations along the south coast. They faced some challenging walks with good humour and plenty of red wine. We take great pride in showing off this special piece of paradise to lovers of the good things in life.
