This is not a review on location or staff, both of which were as expected, it's my disgust at finding I'd been charged £18 for a glass of Pinot Grigio, owners, you should be ashamed. We go to this hotel for lunch whenever we visit Skye, we were considering staying at Flodigarry next time, but not now.

Visited in August of this year and although we didn't stay, the quality and staff made us try to book in. No surprise that they were fully booked! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. It was a very warm sunny day and the views were absolutely amazing. We have decided we will stay nowhere else on... More

Had a coffee and sponge cake. The sponge cake and dessert were excellent . The location is beautiful. It is the only place for miles to stay. Be careful on Sundays when driving. Make sue you have eaten before you travel. You won't find food available all day.

After travelling around Scotland for a week this was the most disappointing accommodation and most expensive by far!! We were put in the cottage at rear of hotel and frankly it was awful, smelt fusty, no wifi as stated (I needed this for work purposes) no where to hang shower hose, door rotten.... The list goes on. Not at all... More

We booked for dinner after a pleasant and relaxing lunch in the bar, a number of days previously. The hotel is in a spectacular setting. Its decor is funky traditional lodge. The staff are in general very nice and obliging. The food we had at dinner was exceptional. Why, then did two hours in the restaurant feel like an anxious... More

I would give a better review if I didn’t feel a bit cheated. Luxury Hotels are about the details. If you don't deliver the details, don't overcharge. I do understand they are on an island and it is high season so I expect to pay up, but this was absurd. I might feel more sympathetic, but we stayed at another... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in the garden room. It was fantastic, own private cabin, great bed and brilliant decor. The hotel itself is where you have any meals though you can have it in your room should you wish. Special recognition goes to Hector and Hazel who were outstanding, friendly and helpful. Always had big smiles, the staff... More

This is certainly one of the most beautiful spots I have ever been too! Also hotel staff is superfriendly, dinner was delicious and the view is unbeatable! The rooms are cosy although the beds are far too soft, internet didn't work properly and the tap in the bathroom was leaking. All in all an amazing experience, would definitely go there... More

Frankly speaking, Skye island deserves its reputation and we can understand that even if all houses seem to be converted in B and B, every single bed has been booked many months ago. When I made my reservation in Flodigary, I knew that I had to pay extra cost to stay in an amazing and place but really, the hotel... More

This was a lovely old well maintained hotel in a great location with a great fine dining restaurant with fine dining prices. Unfortunately the Bar menu was the same as the restaurant with the same prices. We found some good eating places nearby although you needed a car to get to them.
