We stayed for two nights and had very contrasting experiences. Paying top whack for one of their luxury rooms we were disappointed to see many minor (but important) details missing. The brass kick boards on the bottom of doors hadn't been cleaned for a long time, the four poster bed was missing its drapes amongst other things. When paying these...

Unable to comment as this establishment decided to shut it doors for the winter without advising anybody except by signage on doors even though they took our booking through third party booking service. It actually looked deserted and very run down. Even locals who had turned up for afternoon tea were surprised it was closed. When trying to contact owners...

Love this place!! Favourite place ever!! Great rooms. Stayed in main building. Beautiful property. Even a beach walk. Great restaurant. Staff give 100%. Great chef!! Apparently best weather when we were there Oct 2015. So clear we could see Island. And Lewis and Harris. When we came in 2008 so foggy did not see property or knew there was an...

They ruined my special day with terrible food, appalling service and a pretentious price list... they think they are something special yet the place was furnished with stuff from Dunelm Mill and old twigs out of the woods... not stylish, just run down and very very sad.

When we arrived there was no electricity and the entire place was candle lit, which gave it an eerie look. We were greeted by a young man named Hector who was very nice and accommodating. We stayed in the Mary Queen of Scots room which had an amazing view. We were told we could dine that night in the restaurant...

We stayed in the garden suite at The Flodigarry Hotel for two nights as part of our honeymoon recently. On arriving at the hotel, you think wow, this is going to be amazing. Even getting to the room (we stayed in the garden suite which is a stunning cabin in the woods behind the hotel itself) you think this is...

The drive to the Flodiggary leaves you full of wonder and expectation as you head along an ancient coastline with spectacular views. For us you couldn't beat the location of the hotel - remote headland, incredible views, it had it all. We were given a warm greeting and offered a complimentary sherry or whisky in the lounge area which was...

Whilst touring the Isle of Skye we found ourselves on the A855 in the north east of the island. The hotel is marked on OS maps and we followed directions from the main road down to this lovely old hotel. It turned out to be an ideal and welcome location to stop for some light refreshment. The weather was good...

This hotel came highly recommended and it is a lovely building with comfortable accommodations and amenities in an absolutely beautiful spot. It came highly recommended but did not really live up to billing, except for that...the bill, including food and drink prices. Admittedly there are not lots of choices that far out on Skye but the dishes did not measure...
