We had a great 3 day-stay in this really nice hotel at this magic place. The view is unique and it feels very special to stay in such a hotel where there is only you and nature, with hardly anyone else around. (besides from the nice staff at the Flodigarry) Allthough the weather is very changeable at this place, when... More

We stayed here for the 1 night when I was participating in a fund raising event on the island. We only stayed here as this was pretty much the only place available on the island for that night. We were greeted by Hector who was a lovely guy and showed us round the hotel. We were then offered a sherry... More

Four of us stayed for three days. The hotel was acquired by a Dutch couple three years ago and they have been doing it up, together with Flora MacDonald's cottage next door. The decor is very depressing and eccentric. There is a lot of dark grey paint, shiny nightclub wallpapers from the 60s, extremely uncomfortable chairs and peculiar decorations. Our... More

This hotel is ideally located and has been tastefully and comfortably furnished. The attic rooms in the cottage are quaint and more than adequate for an overnight stay. The food is reasonable - well cooked with good local ingredients but a lack of attention to detail was noticeable. The service wasn't great - lovely friendly staff but again attention was... More

We have just spent two nights at the Flodigarry Hotel while on a mini break in Scotland. The staff were brilliant, lovely rooms, fantastic food & service, great location. Thank you for looking after us so well! We will make a return visit. 😀

The minute that we walked through the door of this beautifully appointed hotel, we knew we had arrived someplace quite special. From start to finish, every single member of the staff was welcoming, accommodating, and sincerely interested in making our stay perfect. Leon was particularly helpful and informative. Upon our arrival, we were offered whisky and sherry, and invited to... More

We had lunch at Flodigarry. The food was good, not necessarily exceptional. What we found most memorable is the hotel itself and the location. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We did tour through the hotel and I highly recommend walking through the public rooms. The hotel was very quiet--as was the restaurant---when we stopped. We had a lunch reservation--but it... More

Visited in August of this year and although we didn't stay, the quality and staff made us try to book in. No surprise that they were fully booked! The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. It was a very warm sunny day and the views were absolutely amazing. We have decided we will stay nowhere else on... More

Had a coffee and sponge cake. The sponge cake and dessert were excellent . The location is beautiful. It is the only place for miles to stay. Be careful on Sundays when driving. Make sue you have eaten before you travel. You won't find food available all day.
