Stayed here for just one night in June as part of a longer break and it was beautiful. Very welcoming staff, lovely decor, although room decor was not as good as hall, dining and other rooms. Fantastic view and grounds. Beach very large boulders, so difficult to walk any distance, although other walks are around. We had surf and turf... More

This lovely little place in beautiful nature at the north of isle of skye was more then we expected. Friendly service, amazing food and nice rooms. It was a lot of love in everything placed in fantastic nature. A boutique hotel i would love to come back to.

I stayed at the Flodigarry just for 1 night, it had been booked as a treat following a less luxurious week. When we arrived we were greeted by a fabulous chap who couldn't do enough for us. Following a very nice welcome drink we were shown to our room. The room was acceptable, comfortable and clean, but certainly wasn't what... More

We enjoyed two wonderful nights in this hotel and would happily go back for a month if we could! We had the Mary Queen of Scots room, which overlooks the water. It was a beautifully appointed room, beautiful views and big picture windows, adequate bathroom. It was quiet, even though it faces the parking area - we never heard anyone... More

Wonderful heritage property - place where Flora MacDonald lived. The heritage rooms have been tastefully restored. The location of the property is very beautiful - lush green landscape, lovely flower gardens and the blue sea in front of you. Very tranquil. Staff were very helpful. The chef put a wonderful dinner together for us. The location is a bit away... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights - having returned after a lovely one night stay over two years ago here. Having completed our trip, we've come away with mixed feeling on the hotel. The good stuff: we adore the picturesque environment and grounds of the hotel. The sea is breathtakingly beautiful and the view can be best... More

The Location of this hotel is perfect. The decoration is very quirky but lovely. We loved our stay but we were disappointed with the food. It was very expensive and not really our thing. However it may be yours so try it. Our room had a superb view and I couldn't fault it. Everyone tried very hard to please but... More

driving down to this hotel the building, with a wonderful setting views we were very excited to stay there. The two sculpted deer at the door looking over the water were a lovely touch. The entrance, lounge and conservatory were lovely, calming and relaxing we did receive a warm welcome and provided with a drink much appreciated. The room we... More

A bit out of the way and along some awful roads but what a setting, absolutely spectacular. Staff were lovely but some guests seemed rude and ignorant which was a shame. Restaurant and bar not far from the best I've ever visited, although the prices reflect that. Room decor is period of the hotel which is nice but if you're... More

I do like these country houses and that's why I booked it. I had some expectations for £240 a night. Arriving at the hotel, which is in a great location with lovely views, there is no proper reception. But we were greated by a member of staff who showed us around the hotel and took us to our room in... More
