I recently stayed with Martin and his family at Up The Creek, a lovely, cozy place! Late November on the Sunshine Coast, raining and horrible weather, Up The Creek was a little haven. A nice little kitchen to cook and chat with the other guests, comfortable beds and a relaxing atmosphere. Martin has created a wonderful place to relax after...

I have a nice time when I stay at the Backpacker's B&B. It is a fine little home. I always know it's my place where I feel the most at peace. Nothing is the matter with that beautiful, lovely place. It is always happy and sweet. The house is gorgeous. Everything has been made fun. Nothing is actually the same...

I have based my rating on the welcoming atmosphere as it is such a vibrant place and always someone to talk to. I stayed for three nights with my two daughters. My room was located next to the bathroom which was perfect as I have a baby and could run back and forth without leaving her behind for long. Our...

This place is super cozy and everything you would need!!! Since I had family visiting me in Vancouver, we decided to plan a little side trip to the Sunshine Coast. Martin (the owner and host) was superbly friendly and accommodating. He was quick to point out the amenities on the property and things to explore locally. The use of the...

Glad you had so much fun. We're not always able to amend bookings during the high season without any on-cost, but luckily it worked out on this occasion. Hope to see you again soon

What an extremely friendly, welcoming place! I enjoyed just three days at Martin's B&B and it was such a lovely experience. Comfortable accommodation, well equipped kitchen, beautiful terrace and garden, peaceful living area by the wood stove, lots of space everywhere and such a friendly host and staff. Maps, information and a wealth of good advice about some great places...

Have continued coming here for years to mountain bike along the coast. The proximity to the trails (and the Gumboot Café) make this the perfect place for a guys weekend on the coast. Martin is a fantastic host and the hostel is always clean, warm and welcoming.

To give my girls an myself a break from camping, I stood at Up The Creek Backpackers B and B. It was wonderful, being there: Warmly welcomed by Martin and his stuff by that time, a cozy relaxed atmosphere, clean and places inside and outside the house to feel very comfortable! Also the other travellers were very nice and it...

We had a great stay at Martin's Hostel. Thanks for the warm welcome, all the great suggestions (food, hikes, bike trails, ski touring trips, etc.) and the nice stay at you place. When we will be back to the coast we will definitely come and have another visit. Thank You so much Jakob and Resi

Friendly, clean, comfortable atmosphere. The hotel is like a home away from home. My family of three stayed at Up the creek and we were all very happy with the room and meeting new people there. I highly reccommed Up the creek, I would go back in a heartbeat.

Thanks so much for this excellent review. Just wanted to make sure others realise that we're in Roberts Creek, a beautiful little village, and not the town of Sechelt. Thx

My young family and I recently stayed at Up the Creek BB Lodge and found it to be a lovely place with a very welcoming and accommodating host, Martin. While we were there, I had a medical emergency in which Martin extended a helping hand which was much appreciated. The environment is family friendly, spotless and beautiful. Martin even provides...
