Stayed here for one night while driving through the Pamirs on the Mongol Rally. We arrived late on in the evening at about 9pm and after finding the owners were told that no rooms were available but they had covered outdoor patio areas that were. That was perfect for us and it was a great atmosphere with so many like...

The staff really made us feel welcome and accomodated. I enjoyed this hostel but it is basic. It was full when we stayed, totally booked out. They needed more toilets and showers, with only 2 of each for a full hostel! Some people who were ill couldnt wait and had to use bushes No beds in my dorm, just a...

My friends and I stayed the night in Khorog to stock up before embarking on our drive through the Pamirs to Kyrgyzstan. I am a budget traveller and am not fussy with where I sleep. My friends and I spend most of our nights camping and only stop to stay somewhere when we want to do laundry, take a shower,...

"Home away from home". Extremely friendly and helpful manager and other staff. I stayed at Pamir Lodge in 2 periods, both times in a comfortable new apartment with bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Excellent place to meet other travellers, for example to find others to share transport etc, and the manager also went out of his way to assist with this...

Pamir Lodge is a bit of a mecca for low-budget travelers. It offers low-cost dormitory style accommodation. However, the hotel is inconveniently located well away from the center of town. There is a cooking/eating area in which to prepare food. Shower facilities provide 24 hour hot water, but the number of showers (2) is inadequate to meet substantial dusty traveler...

I was not really sure how to rate this guesthouse. Overall, it's a nice place, recently renovated (or built), with a modern feeling, and the family who runs it is incredibly nice and helpful, so they deserve a good rate. However, for some reason I didn't feel really at ease there. You can either stay in a private room, in...

This was a place we were looking forward to stopping at. Not just because we'd heard good things about it but also because we hadn't stopped anywhere decent for a while on the Pamir Highway! Thankfully, it lived up to expectations. Firstly, we got lucky. A lot of people we'd med earlier on the highway happened to be stopping here...

Very personal stay with amazing friendliness and help organising trecking trips etc by the owner. In the summer a lot of his family are around to help out and everyone is amazing. Very chilled atmosphere, nice breakfast and good facilities.

Pamir Lodge, is a great base to stop at when travelling through the Pamirs, you will be made to feel at home and feel a part of the Pamirs. The staff made us feel at home the minute we stepped in, showing us around the site and sorting our Wi-Fi. To top all this, after staying at the lodge I...

A favourite amongst cyclists and trekkers the Pamir Lodge provides excellent rustic style accommodation. Rooms are adequate although basic with little furnishing and simple raised floor platforms with bedding. Single point power and light. Good hot water in a communal wash area a short walk from the accommodation block. Maybe a little noisy as next to a busy sports ground...
