Lovely location, excellent room, very clean and well equipped. Balcony had a lovely view towards sea. Breakfast good too. Would go back when next in area. Parking on street but would think it gets busy in high season/weekends
A smart and stylish hotel. Very comfortable and spotless. Good for a few nights if you are travelling. Good buffet breakfast. A room with a balcony would be good if staying longer. Very close to restaurants and cafes etc; if walking is your thing, you can leave the car parked.
We were looking for somewhere to stay in central Portugal for the weekend while we visited a friend we stayed in Hotel Concha São Martinho do Porto. The hotel was clean and modern it is situated not far from the sea front in São Martinho do Porto. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed at the bed and breakfast rate which was reasonable in the off season. When we return I will try Hotel Concha as my first choice
We have stayed in Sao Martinho a number of times in rented apartments with our dog, this was a visit without our pet. It was just over 12 months since we were here and on arrival we realised how much we had missed the place. The hotel was convenient to our old haunts and an ideal base for 3 nights. We had passed the hotel many times but often wondered what it would be like to stay, this visit did not disappoint. We had a good deal on the booking and were pleased that when we checked in the price was a little lower than we had expected. Our room was ideal, bed comfortable, and although we did not have a balcony we didn’t have a problem with the garden view. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice, particularly liked the local cheese and home make cake and custard tarts. On our last night we used the bar and had a very pleasant red wine. Staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely stay again. We love Sao Martinho, such friendly people. …
Light and clean hotel. Our room was on fourth floor with balcony and sea view. Room was attractive and although not particularly large the large balcony made up for this. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Only downside was bathroom was quite small.
Stayed here based on reviews, not disappointed. Very nice rooms with balcony overlooking the street/square.The town is relatively new to tourism and well wort a visit before it gets over commercialized. Would stay again.
On a whim we decided to spend a few days at the beach before flying home from Lisbon. Everyone recommended Nazare, but we worried about crowds. We were thrilled with our decision to go to Sao Martinho do Porto instead. The towns are a few miles apart but the frantic tourism of Nazare is not to be found in sleepy Sao Martinho. Even in late May, many places hadn’t opened yet for the season. Hotel Concha welcomed us and was perfect for us. We had a room on the top floor, with small view of the sea, and a wonderful patio. Breakfast is standard but adequate. Staff were very helpful—loaned us a beach chair and arranged for late checkout on our final day. Hotel feels new and is spotless. One cool day the beach and town felt deserted—fine for walking. Another hot day, there were a few on the beach but plenty of space. The whole huge, sandy bay is walkable and gorgeous. Nice town, good base for exploring neighboring towns, very good hotel.…
We went for a weekend in São Martinho and found out this Hotel. It is right in the center of the town, quite close to the beach (though actually not in the first line of hotels at the front of the beach). It is modern and very clean. We liked the service a lot, and the breakfast was very good. The only thing that could be improved is that the room we had was quite small and had no balcony.
My husband and I stayed here late in August. We also had both our parents and family staying in the same hotel. We had the apartment room that had a small kitchen which was nice when it came for late night snacking and making tea before bed. The restaurant offers bar services throughout the day and evening which is very nice. A small patio area on the side walk which was nice to hang out with the family The beach is literally 2 minute walk away. If you have a room facing the street then you can probably see the water and the sunset. Our room had garden view. So it was nothing special. Most importantly it was clean, modern, and comfortable. We truest enjoyed our stay here. My grandparents live in neighboring villages and so my parents always stay at this hotel when they go to Portugal.…
This hotel has about 24 rooms. We stayed for the first two nights on the fourth floor in a relatively small room with a balcony facing the lagoon. For the third night we stayed in A larger room on the first floor which had a living room and a kitchen, but no balcony with a Garden view. The rooms were very clean, modern, and well kept. The location was one block away from the waterfront which I personally prefer especially in this particular town because it is very very busy along the waterfront. The Personnel were very helpful. It seemed to me to be an exceptionally reasonable price. I definitely recommend this hotel.
