We stayed there four nights. Rooms are good, but without air conditioning or heaters. Rooms are part of chalets, with a very nice garden. The hotel is only ten minutes by car from the main (an really nice) street of Chachapoyas. But if you don´t have a car, it´s hard to get there. The hotel is on the route, and there are no sidewalks for more than six blocks, what make the walk something a bit dangerous, specially at night. We asked for a taxi, and after waiting for more than 25 minutes, we decided to have dinner at the Hotel. A young couple with two kids told us they had the same problem the day before. The restaurant is not recommendable. The menu looks interesting, but they are quite disorganized and the attention is really poor.

We checked into this hotel and the first thing we heard was the generator next to the hotel. What we didn’t know was that it shut down at 10pm. The staff didn’t tell us due to the lack of English. We asked for another room and were given a room that smelt of mould. The entire room needs a good cleaning with sugar soap, with mould evident on beams and the door. The bed was hard, the food was average and our parties washing was returned still damp as we had to leave at 8am to drive back to Tarapoto. The receptionist was unfriendly and should think about a career change. By contrast the elderly lady on the desk next morning was fantastic, despite the lack of English. A great location let down by the basics. Find another place to stay.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed in Peru. Just amazing. The landscape to the staff and the food are all wonderful. The room is absolutely stunning too. I'd suggest bringing slippers and or flip flops as the floors a ceramic and the temperature drops at night. Want to keep your feet warm. Also, bring warm PJs to stay warm at night. The beds have wonderful Alpaca blankets but you'd still want an extra layer just in case. The dinner is really good - the chef is wonderful. This is worth considering. Also, this place DOES NOT have WIFII as stated. Please be mindful of that. When you 'disconnect' you sincerely do. Enjoy it.

It is supposed to be a quiet hotel in the countryside but there are 3 diesel electric generator for the entire city next door. Generator are working from 6am to 11pm. Enjoy the noise and smog. Unbearable. They just build a huge free popular housing complex next door. Enjoy the noise again and the security issues. This is out of their hand but still an issue for the customer. Rooms are basic but ok. Internet Service is useless. Service is the worst i experienced since Cuba. Unhelpfull and unfriendly staff using facebook on their cell phone ignoring you. There are no swiming pool just a fish tank. Avoid.

This is a charming hotel in the high Jungle. The architecture is so beautiful and in harmony with the scenery around. Food is great and service at room is on time. Lobby ladies were so pleasant to guide you where to go. I love the Alpacas and Llamas behind my room. Close to the main attractions in Chachapoyas. Just one thing to improve and it is the bathroom water leak. Other than that I had a blast!
