Great hotel with a very friendly staff. Looks a bit like a boutique hotel and it’s directly opposite the beach. We stayed at the upper rooms with view over sea. Not far from railway station and town. Breakfast very simple but ok. A great thanks you to Berta for the morning coffee at breakfast.

We booked this hotel as it offered a balcony and a sea view at a very good rate. It was central to the Bagni on the beach (where you can hire the sun beds and parasols). we had breakfast included. As it was during C-19 the breakfast was ordering rather than buffet style and you had to book, but it was very nice and we get everything we needed. the room was smaller than I expected and we had a bit of a funny time dancing around us, but the balcony was excellent and we used it during the mornings and evenings. The hotel has a 60s charm, with lovely travel posters and weird decorations. Staff were very helpful in answering all my questions. We got a transfer back to the airport for 25 Euro, which took 15 min. the Metro goes direct to Rome and Ostia Antica and costs 1,50 Euro/100min trip - perfect for a day trip. Lots of restaurants, gelaterie and bars - all you need!

This Hotel is just perfect for a beach holiday. Location: It is at a few minutes' walk from several stabilimenti and the free beach, as well as at a few minutes walk from the centre of Ostia Lido, and therefore surrounded by many restaurants and bar. The advantage of being on the Lungomare, rather than right in the centre, means that at night is quiet. Room: It has wi-fi, a small safe (could do with a slightly larger one), fridge, TV and air-con. Our room also had a balcony which is great because you can buy food from the supermarket and have a lovely dinner there, overlooking the sea at sunset. Food: Breakfast was included and there was a lot of choice, from pizza (bianca e rossa), cakes, pastries, yogurt, cheese and ham, hot and cold drinks. They also have a daily set menu for dinner (18 Euros for 3 courses). We only ate in once, but the food was very good. In general the hotel is in a traditional building on the Ostia lungomare, the decor points to nostalgia, with old-style posters and items. It might not be flashy and modern, but it was really clean, which is really important given the current situation. The staff was super-friendly and I would certainly return this hotel.

The hotel is quite retro, quaint, comfy and the staff are amazing. The balcony is best in class and has a perfect view of the beach. Breakfast included are a cherry on top of this awesome hotel with quirky decor and an amazing garden, restaurant and view! Be weary though. It is very far from most main attractions in Rome and the taxi fees will eat you alive.

I booked 2 single rooms here for 2 nights and we were so disappointed we walked out. R The outside is run down and uninviting. The photo of the desk is nothing like it really looks. Most importantly was the fact that they advertise balconies (a must for us) but only certain rooms have them; not at all clear when booking online through booking.com. Almost as important was the fact that the rooms were extremely small with only one tiny frosted window facing the courtyard - no natural light - and consequently felt horribly like the walls were closing in on you. The property refused to give us any money back, charging the full price for one night FOR EACH ROOM. Booking.com appealed to the owner but in the end charged us for one night's stay for each room. This was our last 2 nights in Italy before returning home and there was no way we were going to spend them in those miserable rooms; ended up at an excellent hotel in Rome and had a great last couple of days of vacation. Sometimes you have to cut your losses and run; this was the case for us here.
