A fabulous cottage, equipped with all comforts, surrounded by snowy and silent nature. Inside a fully equipped kitchen, a wood stove (wood storage facilities are in the immediate vicinity), a sauna, a shower room and many windows from which you can enjoy the view and, with a little luck, even the Northern Lights. The restaurant is good, on average with the prices of the place, breakfast at 7 € recommended for the variety and abundance of products. Clean

I spent the New Year holidays in this heavenly corner of Finnish Lapland near the borders of Sweden and Norway. It is difficult to find words that can do justice to the magic of this place, where the silence and the incredible atmosphere of the tundra manage to give the illusion that time stops passing.
My accommodation was at a standard cottage, all beautifully wooden, which could accommodate up to eight people, equipped with fireplace, sauna, kitchen, table with eight chairs, two bathrooms, four bedrooms and a large living room with a large and very comfortable sofa.
Very good food offer at the restaurant, consisting of simple well cooked dishes. There was also a good offer for those who were lactose intolerant and for vegetarians and vegans. Cute staff always available, considerate and with a smile.
Icing on the cake, this year I was lucky enough to witness a strong geomagnetic storm that gave rise to incredible northern lights lasting from early evening until late at night... for two nights in a row! Which made this place even more magical.

We were at the Tsahkal suite, king size bed. Bed was very comfy and the kitchen had all the amenities. Toilet/bathroom was nice too. Very clean. A bit of a surprise was that they wanted us to put all the used dishes to the dishwasher and take the trash away. And they would have appreciated us taking the sheets off the bed. For that price, we left the sheets to the bed.

Travelled from Lahti to Tromsö with my 84 years old dad.

Tundrea resort at Kilpisjärvi were located perfectly regarding our journey to Norway. Parking place was included to our ”Tshakal-cottage” price and we could also charge our (EV) free of charge (2-3 KWh?).

The personal was great :) We did eat a breakfast before we left Tundrea and that was also fairly priced.

Liked Tundrea atmosphere very much and hope that I would have opportunity to visit cottage nro. 39 in the future :)

We enjoyed a 4 night stay in one of the Wau Houses which was a real treat. They've genuinely thought of just about everything to ensure your stay is luxuriously comfortable.
Kilpisjärvi is a small town with one through road and a great supermarket. When it's covered in snow it's very magical. The locals are both welcoming and very friendly. We were on a snowmobile adventure holiday and were looked after by the team at Kilpisafari who made us feel safe and well looked after. They were informative and always cheerful. The extra layers of clothing they provided were much appreciated in temperatures of -30°c. The food at the Tundrea Resort was basic but always fresh and really tasty. The staff were polite, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We had an issue with our hot water but it was sorted immediately with the help of Craig and a wonderful Finnish man who's English was as good as our Finnish. All in all this was such a great holiday made better by excellent accommodation and the privilege of seeing the Northern Lights on more than one occasion.

We travelled to Tundrea for a 4 night stay with Transun. The whole trip was fantastic. The food was great it could however do with being kept hotter, I think they need new hot plates. The bar service was good and had a great selection of alcoholic drinks. All the staff were wonderful, our Malla premium cabin (with a sauna) was exceptionally clean, extremely warm and comfortable. We had everything we needed for our stay. Hiring the Jacuzzi and sauna to ourselves for the evening was also great and we were lucky enough to see the Northern lights.

Anyone that is travelling from the uk, there is a supermarket opposite the resort which is great for drinks and beers under 5%, there is also an Alko shop for stronger alcohol .

Great resort next to a lake with cabins and apartments with a restaurant and bar. Food was really good (we had full board package which included tea/coffee or water and berry fruit juice with our meal). You get three good meals with a pudding included with the evening meal.

Mala lodge was comfy and big enough for 6 people, heating was very warm and private sauna was a great addition. Clean throughout with kitchenette, washing machine and comfy beds.

Staff were helpful and made sure our meals were available around the activites and even included a packed lunch for the journey home.
The trips included in the snowmobile voyager Transun package were fabulous and we were lucky to see the northern lights, reindeer farm, and a trip to the three country point.
You are given an extra coat, gloves, ski mask and helmet with visor for the snowmobile trips and you are taken there and back by minibus which takes 5 mins. The reindeer farm is just a short walk away.
We had a great time, really well organised, all activites were local to Tundrea kilpisjarvi, and everything we needed was provided.
Would stay there again and recommend 100%

Our family has been staying in Tundrea apartments and cabins for several years when we have been in Kilpisjärvi.
The service is top-class, friendly and customer-oriented expert service.
The cabins and apartments are of high quality and really well cleaned, and the maintenance has been good over the years.
We have recommended this place to relatives and friends every time they have planned to stay at Kilpisjärvi.

We stayed in the tchackal suite. The accommodation was comfortable, great location, clean apartment and good service. The separately priced breakfast was good. The apartment has good views, so that there was no line of sight between the nearby neighboring cottages. Shower facilities in the toilet maybe a small concession, but it dried quickly. You could cook food well in your own cabin, even if there were several restaurants nearby. A bit meager kitchen cutlery equipment. For example, the can opener was missing? Very spacious for a couple and the beds are comfortable. An info brochure of the place's activities and services could be in the cottage. Instead, there was a tablet there, if there was information there, but it remained unopened.

This resort is very clean. All the staff are lovely. The food was nice. The area is very remote but there is a huge supermarket across the road which has everything you need.

The itinerary was clearly posted in the restaurant which separated you into two groups which is a good idea to avoid overcrowding.

The lodge was very clean and was always very warm.

I would visit again although the distance from the airport to the resort is very long.

Snowmobile was the best part of the experience. And one of the elves spoke welsh to my son which I thought was VERY lovely. Wish I got her name
