This is a rustic but comfortable lodge at the bottom of Colca Canyon. We had everything we needed for an overnight stay in the canyon. Meals were simple but adequate. The owner was always available and helpful. They seemed to operate in an environmentally friendly way.

We spent one night here after hiking down from Cabanaconde and returned to the top the next morning.

The easiest and quickest way to get to Cabanaconde from Arequipa is by taxi. We hired Guillermo Farfán in Arequipa at 988858855 or guillermo.farfan76@gmail.com. He is very friendly and helpful and speaks very good english.

This is truly an Oasis. Great place to arrive after the trek. Beautiful grounds with a nice swimming pool to relax in the sun. Rooms are good and spacious, with a great bathroom. Food was also good. Staff was very friendly.

This is a place for backpackers who want to stay in the lodge during their trekking through the Colca canyon from or to Cabanaconde. It is located in the beautiful oasis of green surrounded by dry mountains. However, the service is too basic even for a humble price. The hosts who are more or less friendly pay not much attention to the guests. A food is as basic as it is possible. Toilets are dirty and often lack the toilet paper. Internet should be paid, which is crazy even in this wild canyon. A pleasant detail is a pool with naturally warm water.

Dark, dusty floored veranda style
( open to the elements) reception/ dining room/bar with dusty plastic garden chairs at dining tables
Friendly staff. Fluent English speaking friendly waitress.
Delicious vegetable soup but bland unappertising tomato sauce on good sized pasta meal.
Bedroom is a wooden cabin.
Clean comfy bed. Clean bathroom including toilet , wash basin & shower tray. Shower head grubby but not filthy.
Reception/dining room/ bar needs a deep clean & then constant cleaning to keep on top of dust that settles on floor & chairs.

Very friendly, great time in front of the Peru match with the collaborators of the host (Pablo) TOP.

I forgot my Airpods and Pablo really did everything so that I could recover them by offering various solutions, thank you

After a hard day hiking in the Colca Canyon with high temperatures, we stopped for the night at Oasis Paraiso Eco Lodge. We were welcomed by the famous Pedro who made us feel at home directly. This stop was perfect as we could rest the whole afternoon at the swimming pool, enjoy local food well prepared but most importantly we enjoyed an incredible party until late in the night with Pedro.
Thanks for all, we’ll come back for sure.

This place would have enormous potential but looks like the project was abandoned mid way. The lodge is dirty, the shared bathroom looks like it has not been cleaned in the last 2 years, pathways leading to the rooms are half finished. The sheets in our bed were dirty, the room was filty. We have been traveling south America for 2.5 month and this was by far the dirtiest place we have seen. Also the staff was not friendly at all which did not help. The food and the pool were good.

The place and surroundings are beautiful, it includes a large pool and surrounding grass in the middle of the dry environment of the mountains. Service however is appalling. All the Peruvians we had met so far and everyone in hostels and restaurants we had talked to had always been nice and helpful.

We've been in Peru for a while and it is the first time in our trip that the personnel has treated us so bad and amenities far below the standard expected: there was no working hot water despite it being advertised; the smell in the room and bathroom was barely breathable; meals are served by the guides who brought their clients in and we had to take care of ourselves despite paying for the restaurant; we caught the man responsible for the hotel spying on clients doing yoga with his binoculars; in the evening, they seemed to have invited friends around to have their own party in the common area, and all of them serving themselves before clients and not caring the least about noise until early morning (most people get up early to climb back but that didn't seem to bother them); when we arrived for breakfast at 6am, the dining area was still full of garbage from the previous night and nothing was actually ready until half-an-hour later...

I'm not sure if other places in the town are actually better but I could only advise anyone to look around! It is a shame since the place really looks amazing and so much more could have been done with it.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Oasis Paraiso for two nights and loved every minute. Pablo and his family were the most gracious hosts and the breakfast and dinner were excellent! They offered a variety of different local meats for dinner and cooked it all in an old stone oven right in front of everyone. Would definitely recommend in the future!

The place is simple due to the innacesible of having more services, so don't expect something luxury.
however the rest there is repairing after the walk, the pool is clean
the beds are not very comfortable, but they are clean.
the cook is very good, the menu very nice
We were initially greeted by a very discourteous young man, happily afterwards we only had contact with the cook
