Every time I visit this place they seem to top the previous visit. Awesome views, good sauna, top of the notch drinks and good athmosphere. This time, in the reastaurant they had a line-up headed by chef Erno Kemi and it blew my mind! Innovative dishes just kept on coming! And did I mention about the service? Waitresses with smiles brighter than the sun. Summer vacation 1 on 1 right there people! Highly recommended!
On the archipelago cycling route there is a little, but very cozy and charming countryside hotel - renovated of the old school building - to stay overnight, have sauna and swim, as well as fine dining level dinner. Warmly recommend !
Had yet another amazing dinner, 3 courses with wine. The food was well presented and delicious. It’s incredible to be having such a meal in Hyppeis by the water. Highly highly recommend. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming and you’ll be sure to have a great experience!
Had a three course dinner at Hyppeis. The ingredients were local and fresh and the service was ok - the new waiter has still a lot to learn ;) The wine list could be broader. If you’re at the Turku archipelago, it’s worth visiting Hyppeis ✌🏻
We stayed at Hyppeis Värdshus for 2 nights. The building is very old and full of history, but the house and the rooms are newly renovated. The breakfast is very good and done with lots of love for local and tasty food. We also had dinner there and we loved it too! The surrounding ist quiet and calm - just right to come down and read a book or listen to the sound of nature. Thanks Outi and Sabrina for the very nice and warm stay and the good food.
We had a truly beautiful 2 nights at Hyppeis Vardshus. Beautiful meals, room, scenery, hospitality, forest walks, flowers, wild strawberries, crops growing, information on the life, talking with locals. I thought everything would close over winter, but our hosts’ eyes lit up when we mentioned winter. We were told of skating on the iced over water, all the activities that opened up because it was winter. It was all I had expected and more.
I visited Hyppeis last summer on a bicycle trip with our daughter, and the experience was so great I wanted to come back for a weekend getaway with my wife. The hotel is located in a picturesque archipelago setting. The rooms and the interior is very cozy and nicely furnished and decorated in archipelago style. Slept very well thanks to comfortable beds and fresh seaside air. We had sauna and refreshing swim in the sea. We ate very nice dinner at the restaurant and the breakfast was also super. There's local ingredients and specialities, fresh baked rolls, good coffee... The hotel has a big yard where it's nice to for example read a book or just hang out and admire the scenery. We also liked the cozy tv-room upstairs where we enjoyed a bottle of wine from the restaurant for ultimate relaxation. Owners are really nice people and easy to have a chat with. We will definitely return here, maybe in the autumn!…
We spent two days at this very charming guesthouse that has been recently acquired by an energetic couple. Outi and Sam made us feel very welcomed and took care of our special requests very nicely! We enjoyed the SUP paddling trip very much past the nearby best houses. Sauna is also new with views to the guest harbour. We warmly recommend this to other couples that want to have some relaxing time together.
We enjoyed a fantastic meal yet again. Each time we visit is better than the last. This time for dinner with a Spanish friend on the last night of her holiday with us. Good food, lovely surroundings and friendly staff.
Visited there for 1 night with my family and we loved the place. Our room was spacious with 3 beds and there is shower and toilet at the room. They created a special dinner and breakfast for us because of food allergies and breakfast was done earlier than normal since we had to leave earlier. Place is right next to the sea so you really can see the beatiful scenery. The yard is quied and there are some activities to kids. We enjoyed the place really much.
