I stayed here for one night recently and can't wait to return! Faffas is an old farm in the middle of a beautiful countryside, not far from the main road and a walking distance from the Pärnas ferry to/from Nauvo. Accommodation is in extremely cute little red cottages. Simple but they have everything you need, even a kettle and a microwave if you want to heat up a snack (fridge is available in the sauna building). Outdoors toilet and bathroom with sauna. They also have a BBQ hut and the hostess can provide coal if needed. Everything was easy and I felt very welcome. Normally the breakfast is included, but this time it wasn't due to the hostess recovering from an operation. I was informed about this on booking so it was not a problem. They have their own little beach a 5-minute walk away. Sunset was also very beautiful from there. Would definitely recommend staying here.…
We we're going To this Bed and breakfast but canceled a day before we were supposed to check in. After that we received a very angry phone call from a woman who refused To listen us and eventually hung up without letting us discuss the matter. Quite pleased that we didnt bring any money To that place.
We enjoyed this lovely b&b, we stayed at one of the rooms in the main house. Had a nice walk to the sea at sunset. Had a good nights sleep. Lovely hostess! Good breakfast, very clean. Smart shower room (two showers so that each room/family can occupy it at once - less waiting for the shared facilities).
FAFFAS is for those who are looking for piece, quiet and beauty when traveling in the Turku south-west archipelago and who don't mind the lack of a water closet toilet. It is very close to the main road but yet in its own world. There is a separate clean ecological common toilet, electricity, lovely rooms, two separate sleeping huts and a very nice cottage for four, a separate modern shower / sauna hut. You can also order a traditional Finnish smoke sauna. You can take a morning dip in the sea at Faffas boat house near by. I found it to be good quality vs price. Have a look at Faffas English pages at www.faffas.fi.
