On 23rd December 2019 made reservations at tiffany's canyon lodge terrified with the customer service I received by the untrained members of staff 1. Checking in - my family arrived before me I was shocked that there was a receptionist following my sister to finish paying the balance, are these the new lodge standards that have been put in place , how does a receptionist start asking what time I was going to arrive to settle the balance. 2. Dinner - I don't know how your work culture is cheap labour of chiefs you have hired dinner was served at midnight as if that was not enough wrong orders were served all the reason was there didn't know that they would have customers. 3. Rooms - one of the taps was not working and imagine only hot water was coming out I had to walk to your reception to report, your plumber never showed up.

I recently visited the place for fun and not Lodge, i can ay i was impressed with the out door set up,wide ground area to have fun with a very nice view of the water. No corkage is charged for food and drinks, the braai stands are available for usage, the place also offers an outdoor bar and kitchen though food runs out real quick. For outdoor fun not far from the town i surely recommend this place

I recently stayed at Tiffanys Canyon Lodge. I had booked two rooms a family unit and a standard room. From Check in to departure the service was poor. I got passed on to a young overzealous employee to take us to the room. The young man did not even bother to give us a room orientation. We were not shown where the restaurant was and no information on any activities on offer. There was a wedding underway and ended at 1800, but the music was left on high volume blasting way into the night. I went to the reception office at 21 to ask them to turn down the music seeing that all the wedding patrons had left and the deck was empty. The reception office was locked and there was no security or staff around to assist. In the end i had to approach the few wedding people that were still hanging around on the grounds to turn down the volume. The next day I was terribly harassed by Mulenga ( or Musonda) the Receptionist on duty. I am a Hotelier by profession, but Mulenga is the most obnoxious, unprofessional and rudest person I have encountered in Hospitality. Mr Banda is no exception and the little scheme they have going on will make Tiffanys lose a lot of guests. The room had no hot water, with very poor quality tissue paper. The Barriers protecting people from the canyon are weak and can easily give way. All in all my experience at the Lodge was below average and my advise is for you to recruit someone professional who can run the Lodge for you and not to leave it to people who do not share your vision or have your best interest at Heart. I would not recommend Tiffanys Lodge to Anyone

Huge buildings and no-one in residence. This is a soulless place. The setting might be good, but the experience is very poor. We stayed in the Villas. - Worth the extra money to get air-con, and that is about it. Shabby decor, only one pillow per person, no spares. No desk or easy chair, the only 'casual' furniture was out on the balcony with hard metal chairs and a table more suited to a standing bar as it was at eye-level when you were seated. Only one coat hanger in an open cupboard as you walked in the door. Shelves in need of repair. The shower was a tragedy waiting to happen. Fortunately the weather was hot, so cold showers were the order of the day, but on one morning when it was cooler I put on the hot water for a warm shower. The shower head is very high and does produce a good flow but ............... the controls are individual taps on the rear wall of the shower - once the water is on, you have to get through the shower to reach the controls. The water is so hot that you risk a scalding to reach the controls (I did burn my arm), and finally had to resort to using a large water bottle to reach through the shower water to knock the control down to an actual tap and then turn off the water - extremely dangerous. As the shower also had an inward-opening door anyone inside the shower when the water was so hot would be seriously scalded as they would not be able to escape the shower without being under the water. Reception is down a big flight of stairs - totally unsuitable access for anyone with walking problems. Reception and the dining room are in a hangar, totally soulless. Meals are literally 'shipped in' from the resort part of the complex at the other side of the lake. First lunch took over 2 hours to arrive, packaged in cling-film. We were told that we could go across to the resort area where other meals were on offer. and that these could be charged to our room bills at the lodge. This was not the case since the bar and meals at the resort are different franchises and require paying separately. The meals on offer were takeaway in plastic trays, not what residents at a lodge are really looking for. Also the choice range was tiny. My party, 5 in total, were the only ones staying in the Villas, and one of the staff did remark that they are only really busy at Christmas, some holidays and for weddings. This seems a complete waste for such a huge complex, with massive buildings already, and building work going on even now - whatever will they be used for? Customer service is very poor and therefore cannot even start to make up for the poor and dangerous accommodation. There is no way I could recommend this place as a place to stay. It might be fine for an afternoon braai/activity area, but is certainly no for discerning travelers.

A scenic, beautiful beach paradise perfect for swimming, relaxing and having a good time. Plenty of activities to choose from, family friendly environment and a great getaway not far from the main city. First time I went was for my friend’s outdoor wedding and the second time was equally awesome. Thumbs up 👍🏽
