It is the 3 star hotel that the agency proposed and we were not disappointed. It is not a traditional space as all rooms are external and overlook a very warm, Mediterranean style patio. The room was spacious and while it lacked a bit of agglomeration, it met perfectly what was expected - we got a room of "those below". The breakfast buffet is correct and all the staff were very friendly. We also had dinner at the restaurant and everything was perfect. The only observation for future guests is that the hotel is about 900 m from the center, in a high area (so the view !!!). You can walk back and forth and if not, in the "moto.taxi" so typical of the area for about 6 suns (1 ,50 US approx). I would be happy to stay here!. I clear from other comments that we were not cold... the mattress had a thermal blanket and there was stove in the room

Cute little rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens and views to die for. Bed was comfortable. Electric blanket and electric radiator kept us warm through the night. The breakfast was maybe not the best we had in Peru but definitely had plenty of choice even for veggies like myself. Coffee was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant and my veggie portion was lovely and my partner loved his alpaca steaks.

2 Canadian friends enjoyed our 1-night-stay that was booked through Exoticca. Beds were very comfy with a heated blanket. The days were warm but nights got a bit cooler. The shower ran warm...
A walk around the property was delightful. Flowers were still blooming! There was a round tower that I climbed to the top to get pictures of Chivay.
The restaurant food was good and breakfast enjoyable. Staff were very helpful and carried luggage to room. Many stone steps to get around and up to room.
I would recommend. (Altitude was high. Oxygen available.)

Hotel was decent with rooms accessed from the garden. Stayed in Chivay en route to the Colca Canyon. The room was well enough equipped . Breakfast was pretty limited. Hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from the town centre . Stayed as part of a tour but would have no issue recommending it if visiting Chivay

What a gorgeous quirky original hotel. Very authentic, comfy and clean we a beautiful view of the town across the bridge and of the stars at night. Staff are helpful but don’t speak a lot of English and I think they may still be recovering from covid, I.3 no beer at the bar and very confused when pouring a rum and coke or a glass of wine! That said, food was yummy, good portion size and good price. Overall a good hotel but don’t expect 5 star. There is Wi-Fi but it doesn’t really work.

I stayed for one night at hotel Pozo del Cielo in Chivay at part of an organised tour of Peru. It's a lovely character hotel with views to die for from room. It was very cold at night, no problem with that, but there was no hot water for a shower in the morning. Great breakfast

I stayed here with my friend as part of a group tour round Peru and thoroughly enjoyed myself at this hotel.

Our room was cosy with twin beds and a good hot shower.

The location is ideal, by the Colca Canyon away from any street lights, quiet and only a 10 minute ride away from the hot springs which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Evening meals and breakfast in the restaurant were both great, cakes are available for breakfast! I loved the feel of this hotel and recommend it to others spending any time in this area.

What a shame we only stayed one night, arriving late afternoon and leaving early. We had a lovely room upstairs with a great bathroom. At bedtime we were brought a hot water bottle, nice touch. It was all clean and fresh. The room had heating and plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was good with views over the town and mountains.
Loved it!

I honestly don't know. Neither my wife nor I do much hair drying. I don't have any and hers is pretty short. I remember seeing them in a lot of rooms, but cannot say for certain if this hotel had one or not.
