We have just got back from a short stay and i felt compelled to write a review. This hotel really is a hidden gem. We were made to feel very welcome on checking in, greeted and shown around by friendly lady. Our room was lovely, spotlessly clean and spacious, very comfy bed. The restaurant and bar area also of a...

We have been coming to the North Star for about 25 years and we have never been disappointed. The staff are fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, they are always very welcoming. When we arrived there had been a mix up with our dates, they were expecting us the following day. With in less than 30 minutes they sorted...

Once again the North Star provided our party of six with excellent food and service. Cannot speak highly enough! Located in a lovely little village with beautiful scenic coastal walks. Will be returning regularly.

The food was bland, it's typical pub grub -the menu was limited -this can't be a rosette restaurant, the wait between courses was too long, the potatoes cold, nobody asking if we wanted another drink, shoddy decor and the way the food was presented - well I don't serve my dog food looking like that. Didn't enjoy it one bit,...

Along with my sister, I fully endorse her comments about our latest visit. The staff are very welcoming and there is a friendly ambience throughout. The breakfasts are truly filling and a great setup for the day ahead. Be back soon. Sheila B.

Look forward to each visit. 2 x 3 or j4 nights for the last 6 years. The North Star never lets us down. The English Breakfast sets you up for the day, a real treat. There is a good choice of dishes for dinner on the Set Menu, with more choice from the " Specials " and a la Carte. Comfortable...
