Nordic Inn is comfortable in a rustic way and totally surprisingly great fresh healthy food home cooked by the owners who come from Russia and the Ukraine. They are in the process of renovating the Inn and there are improvements made every day. Great location for exploring beautiful Ontario. A group of us stayed there for a camp reunion in...

We booked an overnight stay on a very cold Saturday night. Accomodation was basic. Room warmed up quickly once we turned heat on. Pet friendly for $10 extra(reasonable), but room rate a little pricey. We had a bowl of soup for lunch - was excellent, loved the dark rye bread.

My boyfriend and went to visit Dorset and stayed at Nordic Inn. The hospitality and service was amazing as Marina the owner was a very pleasant person and welcomed you with a smile. The break and lunch was great and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is very clean and the food is great. The room we stayed in was...

Last Sept. my husband and I enjoyed a 2 night stay at the lovely Nordic Inn. The charm of this little place greatly outshon one's first impressions of this as being only "an ordinary motel". The rooms were lovely and clean, nicely decorated for the rustic theme of which the area is known for. The food was incredible, the owner...

While the proprietor is nice, the place is overpriced, terribly decorated, not kept well and really should rent for not more than $50.00/night - we were hosed at 2 queen beds and spending $150.00 for the night. Room was decorated in 4-5 different colours, toilet seat was falling off the toilet, on checking in we opened one draw and found...

Our room was nothing like the reviews we read. The room was old and nasty. It was so musty smelling, even the bedding stunk, so we had to leave. It was so musty we couldn't breathe, the rooms are nothing like you see on the website. We ended up at a bed and breakfast in Minden which I would highly...

The rooms are really big -- you'll have no problem with your luggage. The bathrooms are a little small, but they have everything you need. It's VERY dated and everything is just old (including the towels); but things are clean. There is room service which cleans your room and makes your bed; so that's good too. Our room also had...

Not what you expect to find in an older Motel, but this is under new management. A couple who live on the premises. Everything was spotless and the restaurant was superb. The owner cooks (she was a nutritionist in her previous life) and both dinner and breakfast were really good. Friendly and interesting.

Beautiful little inn in the middle of the wilderness. Only 2kms from the main town and close to the look out tower. It was convenient with the ability to make your own meals and breakfast was great there. The owner Marina was lovely and welcoming. We would stay again for sure.

Very quaint and cozy. We only stayed for one night after a friend's wedding in Lake of Bays, but Marina made it very memorable. She is a very welcoming host and makes you feel right at home. The room was clean and the restaurant is great. The food was absolutely delicious! Marina provides homemade meals that are substantial and healthy....
