Olive Tree Hill felt like a lovely rustic property catered and cared by the family. Very easy to visit Rome and even nicer for Italy locally with the expert guidance from our hosts. We were cared for by our hosts who provided us with a wonderful lunch on our arrival and an evening Italian family meal the following evenings when...

I knew about Olive Tree Hill through the owners being the godparents of a friend. The place is beautiful and despite it being further outside of Rome that some would like, it was a lovely treat to come out into the countryside at the end of a day exploring the city. With great advice and understanding of what tourists wish...

We stayed at this B & B in September with my family. Difficult to find however Ivan did come and meet us. Ivan and Tehri are very friendly and offer a great deal of information on Rome and the surrounding area. The accommodation is very poor and in need of a major updating as it was very difficult to sleep...

Olive Tree Hill is a lovely B&B near Rome. A little retreat in the heart of the countryside just outside the beautiful, medieval, hilltop village of Zagarolo, but, only a short train ride to Rome centre. Our room was comfortable and well furnished with a balcony overlooking the tranquil garden. Our hosts, Terhi and Ivano could not have made us more...

Ivano and Tehri are great hosts and the accommodation is more than adequate but we found Olive Tree Hill lacking in a number of ways. Firstly, if one is on a self drive holiday, it is extremely difficult to find. The breakfast was poor, (stale bread) and the grounds were shabby. The web site implies it is within walking distance...

Ivano and Tehri work very hard to make this a personal visit. Explanations and ISuggestions on sites and restaurants to visit were right on. Suggest a breakfast that includes a toaster for bread, fruit, and hot coffee. There was also very little light in downstairs breakfast room. Need better lighting in bath and bedroom. Room looked out to 4 green...

Travelling in Rome with kids, we decided to base in the outskirts of Rome so we could enjoy the real Italy. We choose The Olive Tree Hill for it’s amazing reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. Ivano greeted us as friends at the train station even though we were delayed by 40 minutes. Immediately he relieved any...

Our family of 5 had the pleasure of staying in two adjoining rooms at this B&B for 4 nights in July. When planning our trip we were unsure about whether we should stay in the center of Rome or a bit outside. We are so glad we chose to stay at Olive Tree Hill where we could easily access all...

We had a wonderful 10 days staying with Ivano and Terhi in their B&B near Rome. We chose their place on the back of near perfect reviews about their home and hosting, closeness to Rome without the claustrophobia and ease of visiting other interesting sites outside of Rome. We are a couple with two young children and we thoroughly enjoyed...

My family of 4 stayed 4 nights in the cottage. We fell in love with the owners and their lifestyle. Great food, great conversation, personal tours of the area. What else can be said? It seems like a dream to us now.
