Just back from a 4 day break to the Stonehaven area and we stayed at Holly Cottage next to Upper Crawton B&B, both run by Patrice. What a super cottage and grounds, a lovely place to relax between sightseeing trips. All the comforts of home and more, we had a great holiday.

On a quick dash to do some genealogy in the Aberdeen area, we stayed at the Upper Crawton B&B. Despite our GPS having trouble locating the place, thanks to google maps we were able to pinpoint it and were so glad we did. I've stayed in upmarket hotels that didn't have as nice bedrooms. The owners were very friendly and... More

We stayed in the family rom which was absolutely fantastic, our hosts were the nicest people you could ever meet. Breakfast is out of this world. My wife and I have been very fortunate to have stayed in many places that cost 5 times as much as here but this has been one of the best places ever because of... More

What can I say, where do I start. My perceptions of B&B have been shattered. Warm, friendly, fantastic breakfasts in a home where everything works and nothing is too much trouble for your hosts. I stayed 5 niights and although taking possession of a new flat, was genuinely soory to leave. The palce is a converted steading and the entrance... More

Stayed at Upper Crawton for the second time, with our teen age daughter, after coming as a couple last year. We had the very pleasant cosy and large family suite in the cottage. We enjoyed the breakfasts in the main house, served by cheetful Alan who took time to chat while Patrice was cooking. We felt very warmly welcome in... More

We stayed with two other couples for a weekend in early June. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was excellent each day, with good choices and generous portions that set us up for the rest of the day. Patrice and Alan could not have been more friendly or helpful. I have only one criticism and that is... More
