Loved our brief [1 night] stay in Stonehaven at this great little pub, bar, restaurant on the water in Stonehaven. The accommodation was excellent. A warm and clean room was provided to us and this included an excellent breakfast. The bar is a buzzing little place and you can eat great food in the bar or adjoining restaurant. Excellent food... Nestling at the edge of Stonehaven harbour, on the north-east coast of Scotland, is a wee gem of a pub and hotel which is the perfect place for lunch. Smart and welcoming staff quickly presented excellent, freshly-cooked food which was great value. Sitting outside the front of the Ship Inn, you can drink in the atmosphere of the small, working... + Amazing place with views of the small fishing harbour + The customer service was good + A tasty traditional english breakfast was served + The location is great. A close walk to great castle ruins and close to the Stonehaven Golf Club - Small rooms which could need a face lift

Customer Service was fantastic from check in, to dinner at the bar and breakfast. Also the location is great. Nice view of the harbor and a close walk to great castle ruins. The food was also excellent. Nice selection of local seafood.

Small hotel right on the sea. Small, but very clean and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good - great food and very good service. I would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the hotel for one night & had a really good experience. Our room was adequately sized with a good en suite facility, the bed was comfortable & the view was lovely. We ate in the restaurant & the food was very good, served by friendly staff.

the location of this hotel, in front of the Harbour is wonderfull. The rooms are well equiped. The only négativ point was the temperature in the room. To warm and no possibility to adjust. Difficult to stand the heat !

We were staying in Edinburgh and wanted to see some sites outside of the city. Dropped most of our luggage off at the left luggage and took the train to Stonehaven for a night. After the mile or so walk to the hotel it was a nice surprise to find a restaurant/pub with some tables outside in the harbor. We... More

I guess most people come here for the food. I was here at the end of a long hiking trip and stayed here mainly because we wanted a good meal at the end! The rooms are small as you might expect in a converted, harbourside, pub building. But they are as comfortable as you could expect. I doubt many would... More

Food was completely unexceptional, with service staff having poor attitude, little patience, and supercilious demeanour. Although it boasts of having fine views of the harbour, all we could see were a collection of smokers and a row of cars parked at the windows. Although we live in the town, we would be unlikely to return. There are better places nearby... More
