Generally looks good, but the refurbishment was not considering mining sounds isolation that i hotel must have. The first night I heard everything from the neighbor room including them brushing the teeth. The second night another neighbor was turning his lights on, and it was turning on also in my room. I had other construction related problems in my room and bathroom that are not supposed to happen in a 4 starts. These are not guest problems- is a hotel problem. When try to get a solution, the staff generally have a really unhelpful attitude and “roll the eyes”. They even changed me to a worst room and did not refunded me. There is a line of guests complaining every morning in the reception. All locals commented about the general guests complaining and the staff attitude. Also, pay attention with the extras rip off, because all that is announced as available, is extra charged (breakfast, beach, parking, etc etc) - you have to read the small print!! They have a ridiculous rule of using a swimming cap at the pool. On top of, the beach is beautiful, but there is nothing to do around there and is a very quiet area.

We visited this hotel on a Saga package deal. We were very disappointed with both the hotel and the area. Whilst the room was spacious and the bathroom was clean, with a large walk-in shower, the air conditioning (not controlled within the room), was hit and miss, with a tendency to either go off in the middle of the night, or dip to arctic temperatures. It would have been nice to sleep with the balcony doors open, but the noise from the road and the karaoke parties across the road (going on until 2.30 in the morning), prevented this. The outside seating area was extremely shabby, with broken and dangerous rattan furniture. The food in the evening was generally good, but had to be ordered 24 hours in advance. The pool was decent, but was taken over by weekenders for 3 days, so we couldn’t get near. The staff would help, if asked, and the evening bar person was very friendly. One member of staff got our goat, as she would clamp a mask over her face whenever one of our party (all British) spoke to her on Reception. Please note, she did not do this when speaking to other guests. The area itself had nothing to recommend it. No little restaurants, shops (apart from a Supermarket and 2 shoe shops) and nothing of interest to look at and explore. Many building and houses had been left to ruin and there were ‘for sale’ signs everywhere. Wouldn’t go back, and the experience has also made us very wary of booking with Saga again.

hotel on main road. traffic never stops/ beyond road is beach - on which 2 kids playgrounds opposite hotel. plus noise from hotel pool. plus fireworks early hours of morning. awful. food dire. hotel unkept, 3rd rate and dirty. filthy lifts, smashed wall mirror in one and unsecured carpet in another. hand sanitizers in public areas empty. not 4 star. service hit and miss. room good size. water shower pressure good. beds uncomfortable. duvets without covers. breakfast buffets little choice. not a place for anyone with dietary limitations. vegan/lactose intolerant/gluten etc. like going back to 30 years ago. cig. butts everywhere outside, litter, dirty tables and chairs. broken rattan chairs by entrance. area around hotel, like shanty town. 3rd rate. unkept, litter, run down. only good point was helpful staff in bank and chemist. nothing else to recommend this hotel or area whatsoever. preference given to visiting clients who came for 1 or 2 nights and overtook pool with shouting, singing and playing music and using tannoy late at night. whole experience was ghastly. beach is pebbles. not easy getting in and certainly harder getting out of sea, due to shifting shingle. uneven pavements, broken paving stones, narrow streets etc. suggest not for anyone with balance or mobility restrictions. no idea when brochure photos taken, but my audio/visual footage videos and photos are bang up to date. half board but ate out a few times, due to dreadful food. chef never appeared.

We needed a relaxing holiday to de-stress. This hotel provided this. Large comfortable clean room with great views of the beach & sea. The food was really good and learned that Sicilian ‘al dente’ suited me. The staff were excellent and friendly. Lovely villages visited, Etna impressive, and Catania a happy surprise with amazing history.

Stayed here for 10 days on holiday in Sicily from the UK. Location - great if you have a car. Loads of free on street parking (never had an issue getting a space close to the hotel) and just off the main A18 motorway/autostrada. Right on the coast, and not in a particularly touristy area so always lots of beach space, etc. Staff - we were fairly independent whilst there, only eating breakfast in the hotel and arranged all our own trips, but anytime we asked for help, staff very helpful and friendly. Food - can only speak for breakfast which was ok. Cooked options not great, fairly processed sausage and often burnt scrambled egg (although I wonder if it was meant to be like that?) however the rest of breakfast was great - lots of fruit and cereal, cheese and cold meats, also a wide range of cakes (seems to be a local thing) which were great. Plenty of fruit juice, tea/coffee (although no decaff options evident, however we never asked). Breakfast room large and comfortable, never had a problem getting a table. Staff were mostly ok - a bit slow to replace things like the fresh fruit when it ran out. Pool area - good. Not terribly large, but never had a problem getting a bed with a parasol if we wanted. Hotel have their own towels you can use. Pool refreshingly cool. Beach just across the street, we never used any sun-beds on the beach, just took a towel down and lay on the sand which was perfectly nice. Room - had a seaview room with an indoor hottub. So the view, etc. was great. Good size of a room, cleaned daily and to a high standard. Good sized balcony which we enjoyed sitting on and watching the sea. The indoor hottub was interesting...it also functions as your shower. So make sure you're not sharing the room with anyone you're not happy to stand naked around in the shower! Not sure how great thsi set-up was, would always end up with some water on the floor as the screens aren't complete, etc. Also the tap to fill the hottub is so slow it took over an hour to fill it if we choose to use it, which we only did once! Separate WC. So, all in all, a good hotel. Enjoyed our stay, would be happy to stay again. Not in particularly touristy area (which we consider a good thing) but readily accessible to the motorway for exploring the island.

The room and hotel was very clean. Staff was very friendly and tried hard to help us as we speak very little Italian. Parking in the garage is difficult. To use the beach with the chairs you pay per day. You can however easily walk across the street and it’s free. As an American I found our stay in Giardini-Naxos a little easier.

I was here for 3 nights with my gf. It was a very nice experience with a big room, friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. I got a very good massage from Esther. The beach is across the street from the hotel. Good restaurants near by (try Sapori del Mare).
