Detailed Reviews
Spent three nights with friends. Excellent stay and very relaxing. The property is very good basis to explore the area for hiking etc. Service very good and attentive. Due to COVID breakfast is served in the room, so there may be some small hiccups in timing etc but overall this is perfectly understandable.

On a recent visit to Karpenisi, central Greece, a very popular destination for European snow skiers and a summer getaway for many outdoor activities also the cool temperatures.
We booked a room at the new "The View Village" located on the slopes of Mt. Velouchi about a mile from the town’s small square and hard to find parking. When we travel, being close to the center is very important for obvious reasons but not in this case; unless you like to spend lots of time in the coffee shops. The location was very convenient for exploring historical places, small villages and unique restaurants within a 20-30 minutes drive. The room is designed and furnished with the latest amenities; a large shower and many details for our comfort in mind especially after a long day of activities. Hospitality was excellent and informative; parking was plentiful and felt very safe. A very good selection of farm to table ingredients as well as very good coffee was greatly appreciated to start our day. Breakfast is included and served in the comfort of the room. One morning we invited a few friends over and shared breakfast downstairs at the panoramic spacious coffee bar overlooking the picturesque Karpenisi and the valley below. The view at this place is second to none, day or night and can't wait to go back. They only have a few rooms, so early booking is essential, especially in high season.

This is the place spot for a nice swim in a pool, if you find yourselves in Karpenisi during the summer. It's the only place with a heated pool we could find, so it's ideal, since even in the midst of summer it tends to get rather chilly at night. They are located right above the town, have a great terrace view, very welcoming staff and snacks & beverages. The pool is very clean and well maintained, the place is very pretty and it's ideal to chill.
They also have 4-5 rooms, working as a hotel, but I have no opinion on that.

Idyllic setting with floor to ceiling views in our huge suite. It was extremely well appointed and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and obliging. I just wish we could have stayed longer than 3 nights. The pool setting was stunning but be prepared to drive everywhere.

This is a wonderful place to stay, beautiful view, great spa services and good breakfast. Rooms are big and fully equiped. Stayed there for 2 nights instead of one! Also close the the ski center and many things to visit in the region. Karpenísi is a beautiful small city.

Stayed for 10 days, host was perfect, nothing too much trouble. Offered breakfast times to fit in with our needs. Including very early starts some days. Apartment was beautifully spacious and clean. They were having some work done but host didn’t start each morning until we were leaving for the day and offered to stop as soon as we returned, the builders were very friendly and not very noisy so we tried to encourage them to work on as it didn’t annoy us at all. Would certainly return here if we came back to the area.

The View Village provides a cosy stay in the mountains, overlooking the quaint village of Karpenisi. The apartments are modern and well equipped and there is a cafe and spa on site.
The hospitality received was above and beyond the norm, as the owner arranged for a 'rescue' when we found ourselves stranded in a snow storm in a neighbouring village on our way to Karpenisi. On arrival in the middle of the night, they took us for (much needed) food and provided drinks and snacks to our room!
The breakfast included was an exceptional spread, served up in the cafe overlooking Karpenisi. The Village is a short walk downhill to the main village, where there are more shops, cafes and restaurants to be found.
Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality!
