Spent three nights with friends. Excellent stay and very relaxing. The property is very good basis to explore the area for hiking etc. Service very good and attentive. Due to COVID breakfast is served in the room, so there may be some small hiccups in timing etc but overall this is perfectly understandable.
As it’s name suggests this hotel has an amazing view! We only went for coffee but we were a group of 20 people and the staff was very friendly and helpful in accommodating us! Definitely worth visiting if your in the area for a cup of coffee with a view!
This is a wonderful place to stay, beautiful view, great spa services and good breakfast. Rooms are big and fully equiped. Stayed there for 2 nights instead of one! Also close the the ski center and many things to visit in the region. Karpenísi is a beautiful small city.
This is the place spot for a nice swim in a pool, if you find yourselves in Karpenisi during the summer. It's the only place with a heated pool we could find, so it's ideal, since even in the midst of summer it tends to get rather chilly at night. They are located right above the town, have a great terrace view, very welcoming staff and snacks & beverages. The pool is very clean and well maintained, the place is very pretty and it's ideal to chill. They also have 4-5 rooms, working as a hotel, but I have no opinion on that.
Stayed for 10 days, host was perfect, nothing too much trouble. Offered breakfast times to fit in with our needs. Including very early starts some days. Apartment was beautifully spacious and clean. They were having some work done but host didn’t start each morning until we were leaving for the day and offered to stop as soon as we returned, the builders were very friendly and not very noisy so we tried to encourage them to work on as it didn’t annoy us at all. Would certainly return here if we came back to the area.
we stayed at this lovely place last week for almost whole week. great location for trips all around Karpenisi, big & comfortable room, Aris the owner, did his best to support us with any question we asked about. if u are not from Greece, bring with u Google translate aplication.
The View Village provides a cosy stay in the mountains, overlooking the quaint village of Karpenisi. The apartments are modern and well equipped and there is a cafe and spa on site. The hospitality received was above and beyond the norm, as the owner arranged for a 'rescue' when we found ourselves stranded in a snow storm in a neighbouring village on our way to Karpenisi. On arrival in the middle of the night, they took us for (much needed) food and provided drinks and snacks to our room! The breakfast included was an exceptional spread, served up in the cafe overlooking Karpenisi. The Village is a short walk downhill to the main village, where there are more shops, cafes and restaurants to be found. Thank you for your excellent service and hospitality!
The owner was exceptionally welcoming: he personally came to pick us up in the center of Karpenisi after our car got stuck on the road in a snowstorm and the following day he drove us around to buy new snow chains and shovel our car out of all the snow. The rooms we were staying in were very clean and cozy and most importantly: they were well heated. After staying in apartments in Athens without insulation and only with AC heating, this was a welcome change. The available breakfast options were many and the food itself was tasty. The terrace in the cafe offers a good view, is protected from wind and snow and heated as well. Enjoying a cup of hot tea there is highly recommended.
The hotel is small and located a bit higher than Karpenisi (~5 min by car) on the hillside on the way up to the skiing area. Because of this, you can enjoy a really wonderful view over the valley and the mountains. The pool was heated and warm. Breakfast was good and okay, served to the room but you can also have it on the big terrace next to the pool. Service was excellent. So Five Points from us for the Location, the Service and the view. Can definitely recommend this place!
We booked this online only a couple of weeks in advance and thus were surprised to arrive and find the hotel under repair and full of contractors working. The owners were very kind and attentive but we were the only guests there and had to work around the noise of the workers. We were only there for a night so it wasn't a big deal but hopefully the work is now done. The room was large and comfortable with an exceptional view from its hill perch. It is close to the nearby ski resort so in the winter, it's likely a prime location but it will require a car for anyone else visiting the area.
