It was such a pleasure to stay at Grained B&B. If you are looking for a quiet place to rest, nice place to work, live in a house where you are not treated like a stranger or great places to discover around, come here!

We stayed with Ian and Barbara at Graineag for two nights near the end of September. And what a wonderful stay it was! We had no trouble finding the bed and breakfast thanks to the detailed directions we received via email prior to our arrival. It is a little way out of the main towns near Loch Ness, but in... More

A fabulous warm welcome from Barbara and Iain. A very clean B&B. The extra touches, which always make a difference include fresh milk kept in the in-room fridge and even a wee dram on the bedside table - a welcome nightcap! Would recommend!

Ian and Barbara a very friendly and a genuinely nice couple. The property is just off the main road but it feels like you are in the middle of the countryside. The room is spotlessly clean, tea and coffee facilities and a lovely touch, shortbread and a wee dram.

Our only regret with this delightful B&B was that we only stayed one night. Barbara and Ian were warm, welcoming and informative hosts. Our room was pristine with nice, unexpected touches. Breakfast (and particularly the Haggis) was amongst the best we've had in Scotland. The area is of course stunning and the mild, sunny Autumn weather was an added bonus. We would... More

The Graineag B&B was the most relaxing stop on our trip through Scotland. Barbara and Ian are the perfect B&B hosts, from the delicious breakfasts to helping us decided what sights to see. We enjoyed the beautiful country setting and all the comforts provided.

Barbara and Ian are wonderful hosts, lovely home, very large and comfortable room with en suite, situated in a quiet location. Superb breakfast! Great advice of local places of interest and recommendation of the local Glenmoriston Arms - fantastic food. Would highly recommend this B&B to anyone thinking of staying here. This was our best stay so far. The house is absolutely beautiful, the room was clean and cozy. I've got no words to describe the surroundings. It was stunning. When you were lying in bed the only thing you heard was the birds chirping outside and the water going down the stream. At night you could see a sky full... More

A little off the beaten track, about 7 miles back from Loch Ness itself, but on the road to Skye therefore convenient if you are going there (we weren't), but still OK and away from the crowds nearer to the Loch. Located in a lovely house in its own grounds adjacent to a little burn (stream) with lots of birds... More

It was a wonderful (short) stay at this B&B, the accommodation is well situated, the rooms are big, clean and comfy. Barbara and her son were really friendly and hospitable. We were chatting a lot while enjoying the best breakfast on our trip, simply delicious. We should have stayed much longer, we can only recommend it to everyone! Unfortunately Ian... More
