great place to vacation, staff is really nice and good food options! we had the honeymoon suite and it was nice and clean everyday of our stay. I would consider bringing my kids next time because we seen allot of activities for kids.

We travelled from Birmingham UK in a group of 11 which consisted of 2 families with kids ranging from 13 to 22. This is an honest & comprehensive review & will hopefully ease any worries that some people have about this resort. Check in - It is slow, there is nothing you can do to speed it up but sit, drink get the wifi code. We had booked the Grand Palladium Jamaican side but when we got there due to the renovations taking place, we were put in the lady Hamilton side - there was no issues with any renovations & we wouldn't have even know they were taking place. Rooms - Lovely & big - King size bed & sofa bed - both really comfortable beds, rooms clean & good air conditioning. Mini bar was stocked regularly & maid service was great, although due to the volume of rooms they have to clean, sometimes the rooms were only getting cleaned when we were coming back from the pool at around 4pm. Plenty of toiletries everyday & no need to take shampoo, conditioner, shower gel or moisturiser! Some of the drawers did smell a bit musky & not enough hangers but it was nothing major. Pool / Beach - Pool had a few filer issues but this was mainly down to inconsiderate holidaymakers getting in covered in sand, but the staff stayed on top of it & its upkeep. Beach is a bit course but there was no seaweed & sea was lovely. We went snorkelling at the far end beach which was amazing, with lots of marine life to see around the coral reef. Bars in & around the pool had quite slow service as the majority of the time there was only 1 member of staff serving. Daytime entertainment - Great! Kept both kids & adults occupied all day. Power - the main man was outstanding & the place was not the same on his days off. Always full of energy, encouraging people to join in the activities of which there were plenty going on. Volleyball, water polo, dance classes etc etc - really good program led by the Power man! Restaurants / Food - Miss Lou's Bar, started the day off with amazing coffee & pastries from 7am. Again lovely staff in there, but the stand out service was from Marvin - he was a coffee master with the nicest personality. Always greeting us by name remembering our order & delivering it all with a smile - top bloke. Breakfast - extensive choice & service stations making fresh eggs, waffles, crepes etc - great coffee served & plenty of choice for everyone. Buffet was ok but we didn't go that much as lunch & dinner was very similar so we opted for the A La Carte's most nights. Japanese - Sumptuori - Outstanding food both at the teppanyaki (RobLee) & the normal set menu - The best waiter on the resort was most definitely Taj who served us on our last night. Steakhouse - El Dorado - Best Fillet Mignon I've tasted in a long time - we went there about 4 times. Others ordered different things from the menu too & were not disappointed - service was quite slow in here though. Mexican, Italian & Indian all visited too - good food but service again slow on the whole, but some really nice dishes that always arrived hot. Overall really pleased with the quality of food - Booking was a bit hit & miss as you can book on the app but it doesn't get fed through to the restaurants, so all we used to do was go down at 7pm, have a word with the restaurant we wanted to visit & say we had booked for 7:30 & then when we went back at 7:30, they had a table ready for us. Guest relations can help book the teppanyaki & others but make sure you get a paper booking confirmation. Evening Entertainment - Saved the best till last - Milton, what a man!! Every night there are activities led by a great group of entertainers. The shows are good & we saw some of them, but we opted to sit in the Infinity Bar mainly where everyone came at 10pm. Great nights of karaoke, 70's & 80's nights, beach parties & dancing into the early hours. Milton, VIP, Batman & Prince always made us feel really comfortable & were brilliant! Milton even managed to get my daughter who prefers to sit & watch, to sing at the Karaoke & even dance. We have been to a lot of places & can say hand on heart say that the entertainment here, was the best we have experienced. Milton & his mates were a massive part of our holiday & made it what it was - amazing! Then we had the friendliest of security guards patrolling the infinity bar - we called him Secci but he too was so welcoming & friendly, at the same time as keeping any rowdy groups under control. Overall we have had a brilliant time & met the most amazing people (other than a very rude assistant manager from the travel club who I believe was called Jermaine). We would definitely go back & our only concern is that it wouldn't be as good 2nd time round! Thanks to everyone for making our holiday to Jamacia the best yet.

Enrique, save your BS reply for the others. This place is a Joke, came for my wedding and honeymoon. Wow what a mistake. Resort does not care about a thing unless its in your wallet, green and has a Benjamin character on it. Phone didn't work more than half our stay so no room service no wine service nothing... what a honeymoon... They literally feed you cruise ship frozen food. Any, I repeat Any review with a positive thing to say about the food... You must eat canned sardines on the regular or are missing your tongue. Were lied to multiple times by staff. Made reservations for a couples massage and wine months before our arrival... guess what ... 40 mins before massage time the office calls my cell phone...yup because our phone still isn't working to let me know they cant do our massage, not at a later time, no remorse or offer to fix, they don't care... schedule reservations for dinner Through the useless app they make you use... guess what... not only is the restaurant not open.... LOL... we make a different reservation and the staff tells us the app doesnt work and we just have to wait as they didnt have anything.... about 50 more scenarios exactly the same, will never go back, will never stay at another facility owned or managed by this Joke of a company. Literally our neighbor had no shower to use for almost a week and they refused to get her another room, i promise prison is more accommodating

We are currently on third night of a two week stay. It's not what we expected being regular travelers to the island as we have family locally. You're better off travelling to Negril and staying at one of the RUI hotels. The hotel is currently undergoing major renovations lasting well into next year that aren't advertised. No welcome, no introduction to the site and facilities. Our room is a good 5 minute walk to the main building yet one of the closer villas. Rooms look tired with plenty of broken floor tiles and blocked toilets. Room service is $15 per order but you're not allowed to carry food out of the restaurant so if your kids fall asleep early due to jet lag you have to starve yourselves or pay a small fortune to eat food that you've already paid for over the course of a two week stay. When we asked to carry food back we were stopped by security. On complaining to Management we were just rudely fobbed off by an offensive arrogant manager who told me to rate the hotel a zero on trip advisor if I wanted to. The place is littered with rubbish and plates so obviously they don't pick up the plates or some have managed to smuggle it out. The Palladium group are obviously greedy. You wouldn't mind so much but we have been pestered to recommend the hotel brand when we get back home and have been promised free gifts. The waitresses in the restaurants are begging for tips because they don't get paid a fair wage to be able to even support their families and the garden/pool staff are selling weed to tourists for a second income. Beautiful location and really friendly locals and staff. Management is appalling.

over all first time was very disappointed look at previous mgs , room smell of mold , refrigerator was leaking , transportation we were over charge and not giving a full understanding that we had have cash, all the sports activities that were included were understaffed and both boats for the glass bottom row boat where broke

We had a good time. We might even go back. Food was excellent and the amenities were also great. But.... our rooms balcony had a view of a wall next to the highway. Not ideal for a honeymoon. They offered a voucher to the spa for going through the Membership presentation but it was only good for one person or half the value on 2 people. Felt like a sham. Our villa was under maintenance and had a very steep walkway that was not well lit. I thought I was going to trip and fall anytime I wasn't in flats. Our ice machine didn't work in our villa either. The AC went down and we had to figure out how to reset it ourselves. The free snorkeling masks we used all leaked so our eyes burned from salt water. And when I wanted to sit next to my spouse (instead of across) from him at dinner it was like they were being put out to put us at a different table. We would like to bring our family as it looks like a great place for a family vacation but I'm not sure it was worth the price we paid.

Great facilities. Wonderful staff, especially the caregivers, Tashae, Clevia, Shakira, Shaquana, and Tessi-Ann, at the kids club. My 2 years daughter has made great friends with the other kids there. She even baked a pizza for the 1st time while at the club. My daughter loves the staff and can’t wait to get there in the mornings. She learned so many things and had quality time with lovely staff and friends. Thanks so much

We had a fantastic time. We were looking for a sunny relaxation vacation, and that is exactly what we had. The staff were great, super friendly. I liked the fact that if you had been there before, they would "Welcome you home". I can't wait to go back, and we definitely will.

We recently returned from the Grand Paladium Lady Hamilton after a weeks stay flying from Manchester. We had a brilliant holiday which could have been perfected with some minor adjustments. Overall, our stay at the Lady Hamilton was brilliant. Our check in was quick and simple and we were taken straight away to our room. We stayed in Block 36 which was a great walking distance between all of the amenities. Our room was clean and comfortable and absolutely huge! We did have a slight problem with the air conditioning, it made a very loud banging noise when turned on and made us ill after one night. We never bothered to raise this with the front desk as we didn’t need to use the air conditioning as the room had a large ceiling fan. The restaurant system needs to be reviewed, you cannot book a table even though the option is shown on the app. Some nights we waited up to 2 hours for a table for two. We tried all of the al a cart restaurants and had good food in all of them. The Indian and Mexican were the best and the staff at these restaurants were fantastic and really made the experience. Breakfast was always fantastic, the service was sometimes slow but I imagine this would improve when the other buffet restaurant opens back up. Lous bar also did great hot drinks. We especially enjoyed the Jerk Huts, some of the best chicken I have ever had. The bars would make you any drink you liked but not many of them had any menus so it was hard to know what to pick. The pools and grounds are very well kept, we never struggled to find a sun bed and everything was very spacious. It’s a shame the jacuzzis in the pool did not work. With the odd exception the staff were very pleasant and most of them could not do enough for you. They were very smiley and happy. The evening entertainment was poor, the shows consisted of the same dance routine to different music every night. Although the dancers were talented, the entertainment offering needs some variety. Overall, we had a brilliant holiday and would return to Jamaica but would most likely not return to this hotel.
