Where do I start? We booked this as the highlight of our 2 week Canada holiday for our 30th wedding anniversary, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Julius and Kristin are fantastic hosts and their guides are just as brilliant. We spent quite a bit of time with Paul who was knowledgeable, patient and just a great guy, and Olly made...

There is a saying that things are never the same second time around which is often true but our recent experience at Grizzly Bear Ranch was even better. We had visited GBR in September three years ago and had an amazing trip but only saw a few bears because it was very warm and the salmon were late. We always...

We had an unforgettable time at the Grizzly Bear Ranch; Julius and Kristin were great hosts, the food was delicious and the accommodation warm and comfortable. I would give the Grizzly Bear Ranch an excellent plus if I could. The first night is spent at the Kaslo Hotel & in the morning Julias gives a talk about the ranch & the bears. A trip to the ranch in the 4x4s is also an opportunity for everyone to try and spot bears. We saw a black bear on...

A great start in kaslo hotel, an unspoilt gem off the normal uk tourist radar. Scenic transfer to GBR ranch, superb welcome, stunning setting, luxurious cabin. The hospitality is generous & genuine, meals taken family style, nothing is too much trouble. We saw grizzlies from the raft, from the vehicle and on foot (from afar & not so far..). The...

Getting to GBR is part of the visit & shows some spectacular views of BC. The ranch itself? Every other reviewer has said it already but in my view this was the most sensational place we have ever been. Julius just oozes confidence & care, which made the mountain climbing & rafting a bit easier, although both (especially the mountain)...
