Magical place - Bernard and Francine are excellent hosts - very helpful with ideas and plans - and the home cooked dinners are just lovely - served in a little separate house. Little touches like leaving breakfast for early hikes were much appreciated. Beautiful quiet setting - away from everything. Only issue we had was really slow WiFi - when it worked - was fine to have no WiFi in the room but would be nice if it worked properly in the breakfast nook.

This small b&b was the perfect place to stay before a trip up the volcano. Bernard is so friendly and helpful, he even left us a breakfast that we could eat at 2AM before heading for an early start to hike the volcano. He then let us come back and shower after our hike even though it was after checkout time. Very nice rooms and comfortable bed.

We stayed 2 nights at the b&b to explore the vulcano area (and also Foret de Bebour) and the b&b was absolutely the right choice.
Bernard made a fantastic breakfast with lots of stuff from his own garden. He was also really helpful in giving us tips and recommendations and took always time for us for a talk.
Bernard can speak very good English.
The bungalow was very clean and there is also a nice bungalow for all guests where you can spend some time and can have tea for free.
The bungalow is equipped with a lot of lovely details which show the enthusiasm of Bernard. He cleaned the room every day and made sure all towels were dry in the evening.
We highly recommend to stay at Bernard's place for at least 2 days to enjoy his hospitality and to explore the region of Les Plaines de Cafres.

Spent one night in mid-January at Le Millepertuis in Plaine des Cafres and it was phenomenal. After our arrival we had coffee, tea and biscuits with the owner, Bernard. He was very friendly, kind, well-organized, and professional. Situated on the family farm, there are goats, chickens, and other animals which contributes to the relaxed, rural atmosphere. Also, for breakfast we were able to eat fresh hard-boiled eggs and yogurt, thanks to these animals. There were a couple of great options to eat for dinner, within ten minutes by car. Bernard suggested "Tinto's" for us and we absolutely loved it, delicious fondu and crêpes! By chance, we also fell upon the festival "Miel Vert" and there were hundreds of people with lots of amusement park attractions, food and music. Finally, the rooms were comfortable and very neat and clean. One of my favorite places I've stayed in Réunion without a doubt. One last thing - there is also free wifi which is yet another bonus.

The owner is very kind and gave us a warm welcome in his B&B. What more he speaks very good English, maybe the first time during 2 weeks visit, when we were able to have a nice conversation during the dinner and breakfast with the owner. We appreciate it very much :) ... the bio boiled eggs for breakfast was great. The room is tidy, clean, excellent with a nice view downhill over the ocean and coast.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Millepertuis in June. Bernard (owner) and his family were wonderful hosts and made us feel welcome from the beginning. The guesthouse/cabin is part of a small organic farm. I talked with a local who stated he drives 40 km each week to get his eggs from the Le Millepertuis farm, because they are the best organic option. The cabin was very nice, clean, comfortable, and made a perfect starting point to drive to the Volcano (Piton de la Fournaise) trail head early in the morning. The hike up the volcano and the view from the lookout were the highlights of our trip. Reunion is a stunning island that you must see to understand. We would highly recommend Le Millepertuis. Apparently, my partner and I were the first people from the US to stay here. Our French is pretty poor, but Bernard did a fantastic job communicating in English. Reunion is a beautiful place.

Had a fantastic few days here, Bernard and his family are perfect hosts. Make sure you have the evening meals here too, the food, wine and conversation were all spectacular. The accommodation is in a purpose built quaint cottage, very comfortable, each room with private bathroom. In the garden is a communal "kiosk", where breakfast is taken and you can chill out any time, it has a wonderful view to the distant ocean. Highly recommended!

Tucked in a little farming borough, this cute little wooden Creole House is a nice change from your typical BnB. The host, Bernard is exceptionally professional, helpful and very accommodating.
The rooms seem fairly new and well constructed. It is very organized, clean, tidy and comfortable. You have a little kiosk where you have your meals which overlooks Bernard's organic farm and the mountains. He offers you a great little breakfast - baguette, homemade jams, tea, coffee and eggs from his farm! He speaks English too which is a plus.
