I just visited Kaalmegha Country Club & Resort, and it was very amazing! The dining at the resort was superb, with a wide selection of local and foreign cuisine. Our travel and tour experiences were equally unforgettable, with beautiful scenery and green nature, and bird melodies that brought the resort's atmosphere to life. What I liked best about this vacation was how simple and stress-free it was—everything from transportation to lodging was well-organized and convenient. Overall, I strongly suggest Kaalmegha Country Club & Resort to anybody seeking a genuinely unforgettable holiday experience.

We had booked the Presidential Villa for 2 nights and the villa/service did not disappoint. If you are looking for a retreat away from Dhaka and don't mind the painful commute, this is a great place to unwind or spend some time with family or friends. It's not a Country club or a Resort - yet - as the project is still ongoing. However, the service of the staff (Arafat served with a smile from 8am to 10pm), the personalised care and attention received from the management team who were extremely receptive to constructive feedback and the delicious food compensated a lot for all that was missing. We initially moaned the absence of activities and amenities but in the end, it was great to detox and simply spend quality time with family, which is rare to accomplish in Dhaka's busy life. Of course, if you're looking for a resort experience or socialising with others, you'll be disillusioned, but don't write this place off totally. We loved the beautiful lawn, the jacuzzi, the folk song performance and BBQ after sunset. We cherished the dewy dawn with birds chirping. We actually enjoyed lounging about and not having to dress up to visit a dining hall or a restaurant (not there yet) because food was served right at the villa. So for those looking for a lazy weekend, this is a nice getaway.

Overall the say was ok kind of and not satisfactory. Specially i liked their service staff. They guy named Rasel was very much cooperative. Now lets discuss some of the issues i found. I stayed at luxury villa 3, the pool was ok, but not peoperly cleaned. The major issue i found the lack of privacy. In front of our villa construction is ongoing so actually there was no privacy at all there were lots of ouside people are walking and staring at you which is why we cannot access the pool at day time. The front door lock was broken and complained against it and they informed they are repairing it, but not done during our stay and in night we need to ask them to lock from outside other wise it not possible to lock from inside which means no security what a pitty. They informed me its safe but how do you expect the main door will be unlocked and accessible by anyone and you are sleeping with your familly inside. Isn't is ridiculous!!!There was lots of bug everywhere in room which i complained and they gave me excuse that due to open area they cant control but i use aerosols and all bugs are down. Due to bugs the kids were afraid, which made our stay miserable. So i think they should use aerosol during room cleaning to avoid these bugs. I found street dogs are roaming freely and found one dog is even inside our villa and roaming around swimming pool which was awakwrd and issue of hygiene also. The interiors are ok and there was not enough towels. During our stay there was no WiFi. They informed me due to storm it was cut down and they are working to repair it but not done during our stay.So moreover i am not much happy about the say and they need to improve their service and security and they also should not rent the villa around construction site which will hamper your privacy a lot. So for the time being i dont recommend anyone to stay there until you found presidency villa or any secluded villa, coz i observed all other villa is surrounded by construction workers which will impact your privacy a lot when you travel with your familly and does not justify the money you spend. Another point is the food was good considering our local test. But improvements can made considering the price.

We considered this resort over anything else solely because they promised cleanliness and privacy in this covid times. But they didn't even do the basic cleaning and there was visible dust everywhere. The worst part is, they charge 2000tk extra for the accommodation+meal for the driver but they won't provide bare minimum facilities for the driver. The drivers just get one bed to sleep in/have a meal and that's it. Lucky, the sales executive we talked to from Leisure Limited to book the resort didn't inform us about the broken tv, pest issues or the fact that we need to carry towels or basic toiletries like brushes. Truthfully although the villa rent was okay, the meal cost does a very good job at robbing you since you can't share the meal between yourselves or skip any meal. N.B. if you have infants or the elderly with you, do not consider it. The cockroaches in the microwave, mosquito bites, stained walls, dusty beds, cigarette hole in the sofa, and wet washroom isn't worth your family's health.

Poor accessibility, poor management, They will charge you all the payment upfront before entering into villas. They have no professionalism. The management will go dark once you’re done with the payment and then the real game will begin. The staffs will deliver you improper food. They don’t even know how to talk to the customers. They just picked some local boys who don’t know about service. They don’t understand any instructions! Unbelievable! If you say you wanna eat fish fry they will make fish curry ! Pool is unclean ! AC was not working ! Just waste of money time and energy.

The curated photos and the sweet talking customer representatives are just about the end of the experience. The villa was riddled with spiders. The food was just ok but absolutely not worth the amount of money. The service was below the standard of what the prices were. The connecting kitchen for the villa we stayed in was infested by cockroaches. The ACs in two rooms did not work properly,
The toilet had some issues, it was too congested, the hand held shower holder was placed too high, hence one had to hold it physically to have any chance at showering, there was not fixed shower of any kind for one of the toilets.
Driver accommodation seemed like an afterthought. This was tremendously sad and annoying. The space they offered was incredibly small and to an extent demeaning.
Some of the support stuff was cordial, some were not. The property is not well lit, there are no numbers or signs for villas and their positions and lacks basic landscaping elements (these only matter it you wander about a bit).
The management and the team who designed the property/resort/villa should seriously reconsider their choices and decisions and bring about necessary positive changes.
I would not be returning here in future by choice.

Kaalmegha Country Club & Resort was amazing and made us feel so warm during our stay at the resort. The resort was spotless with daily cleaning. The rooms were comfortable with huge beds and spacious bathrooms, with a fridge, kettle, cable TV and Ice cold aircon. there was also a private kitchen in our villa. I'd say the trip was totally worth it.

The natural environment is very charming, you will get the feeling that money is well spent. Foods are delicious. I specially love the villas unique architectural design and the private swimming pool. Nice to be there for a couple of days.
