We stayed at this resort twice. The first one was couple years ago. It was quite hot (about 30-34°C). And the second time was couple days ago. The weather is quite cool now. It's between 13°C to 29°C. To be here in both weather (winter and summer), is one of our best experience. And we loooooooovveeeeee this resort so much.... More

A great base to explore Northern Thailand - allow for the 60 kph average speed for all journeys. Excellent service and staff, set in the countryside, beautiful gardens, spa and pool, good restaurant, well-proportioned rooms, good selection of tours from the hotel or Chiang Mai (use hotel daily shuttle) for the many local and district sites, sights and attractions. The... More

Stayed 4 nights from 15.11.15 to 19.11.15. Was very peaceful and relaxing 4days tempture was 32 to 34 degrees everyday. There is lot to see as well like elephant rides and waterfall etc. But we were looking for hot weather, so we had that. We enjoyed every minutes of our stay.

We spend 10 beautiful and relaxing days in full nature and local gardens of Belle Villa. Surounded by peacefulness, greenest and really well maintained gardens & flowers, We had a comfortable studio with all this view via the windows or the large balcony. The room was with a so large comfie bed, we could sleep four accross. Well equip, with... More

As RCI memebr booked a 2 BR village cottage no.33, a re-furbished one. Easily accommodate 6 but we were 3 adults and 2 children. Karma Royal Group staff was very helpful. My wife loved to cook in the kitchen for the grand children.Great location, village atmosphere and very peaceful. Staying was great here. Downside 32 kms distance from town, commuting... More

This is a difficult review to write. The Belle Villa Resort shares the site with the newly owned Royal Belle Vista Country Club. Essentially the Belle Vista is a privately owned restaurant and a group of villas. We met the owner and he is a very nice person who invited us to the grand opening of his restaurant up the... More

Elephants- that is the reason to come to this part of Thailand near Chang Mai. You really need a car here. DO NOT elect to take the hotel transfer unless you are going to walk everywhere and eat at the hotel The hotel is NOT in Chang Mai- about 40 minutes drive away, just past Hang Dong (a very small... This is an older hotel/resort. We were in a hotel room. Really too far from town, a good 40 minute ride by bus around winding road. Pleasant enough if you get a good price. We paid AUD$200 for one week. No breakfast included. Restaurant meal we had was nice, nothing flash, but generally expensive. We ended up buying frozen meals... More

I really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were good maybe a little old/run down. The location was very quiet and surrounded by green. The food wasn't really the best though. With very average breakfast and expensive lunches and dinner. Thankfully there is more restaurants not so far away. But it quite important to rent a car if you come here... More
