We check in Paree Hut at 18th Nov for 2 nights but we only stayed for 1 night although we had paid for 2 nights. Why do I gave 1 star rating? - The staff don't speak English. (My wife speak Thai luckily) - The room prices are all same but the room sizes and facilities are different. (Informed by the staff) - No amenities at all except towels. - Bad wifi and reception for phones, and to call the reception you need to use your own mobile phone. Imagine you're in emergency you can't call the staff at all !!! - No closet and side table to place your stuff - The room have no locks at all, no safe at all. The hotel don't help you safe guard anything. - The bathroom is using bamboo stick wall which means people can see you taking a shower. - Swimming pool is dirty and horrible. - Breakfast is tasteless. - The resort is next to a waste disposal management factory, the factory discharge the smokes at night and you can see and smell the toxic smoke. - Highly overpriced, with price you can go to a better exclusive resort. This is like an refugees hut. Do not recommend at all. - Rubbish is basically every where. Exclusive comment : There's a snake in the bathroom on the day we left, we (my wife speak Thai) reported to the staff and they said they saw many of snakes before. They don't even ask if anyone get hurts or are we OK? I will attach the photo as proof at my page.

The front could not find our booking. The room had no lock at the door and the floor was very dusty. The candy wrap and cigarette wrap were lying on the floor. The wall in the room had termite trace and couple leaches were there. The landscaping was very dirty (actually no landscaping at all). No water in the so claimed infinity pool so my kid could not swim. In the night my kid got bitten from mosquitoes all over the face. Not alot of activitiies to do. The island tour we book was a rip off since the man would not want to take us to places even though we paid for it and also with bad attitude and rude. They wanted to sell the full board meal without letting us know the price and turn out it was another scam. The food was like the left over from the previous meal and low quality. Sure it was a seasfood menu but the quality was very poor and nothing like the picture they show us. The breakfast was very cold and bland. For the price of the room, the tour, the food we coud find it anywhere else with memorable service. The only one thing this resort has is the view. They really need a maleover or out of business.

We usually visit Samet for a quick getaway from BKk, but what a happy surpise to find this serene spot on a rocky hill overlooking green waters. The island still has some old-Thailand charm and is not over-developed. Loved our large but dark bungalow. Lots of flies at breakfast, but what can you do. It’s on the expensive side but they do include tuk tuk rides whenever you need to go out. And we could bring our dog! 💕

Well worth staying 1 night but not a longer stay. Room had character but shower broken and handrail gave way which could have lead to a nasty fall. Recommend a stay but take care as could easily have a fall and the rocks are sharp and unforgiving. Cannot lock doors and no room safe so take care with valuables. Rooms were good enough for this traveller but if you like your comforts and worry about sharing your room with the local wildlife best to give this a miss. Also seems a little over priced.

We had a terrible time at this place. It was very expensive, but we thought we’d have a wee treat for the last couple of days of our holiday. The accomodation was a hut. It had a bamboo balcony that felt terribly unstable. There were plenty of gaps to allow bugs through, in the room. We arrived late at night and I put the mosquito net across the bed and sprayed it with deet. We had to convince them to cook us some dinner (the location is quite far out from the main township). When we went back to our room there were the biggest cockroaches I have ever seen, all over the mosquito net. We phoned our tuk tuk driver to come and take us somewhere else. It took him, and his lovely wife, about 15 - 20mins to arrive. During that time we yelled out at reception for someone to come. No one arrived. We left. We arranged a refund with our booking agent. They refused to pay the agreed amount. They charge an appallingly high amount for the rooms. There is far far bar better accomodation on the island for a fraction of the price.
