Had a great one night stay at Wivenhoe House. The room and food were excellent but it was the staff that made our stay memorable. They were extremely friendly and made us feel really welcome. I believe that a lot of the staff are students at the University but it seemed as if they had been in the hotel industry...

One of the most pleasant lunches I have ever experienced. Excellent food served by pleasant attentive staff in a excellent location. Particularly recommend the roast beef. The special offer to add the house wine is very good value especially when the quality of the house wine is taken into consideration. Attention to detail is well demonstrated at every stage including...

We were offered another main course, but there was no more beef, very disappointing....

Visited here with my friend, there is a huge range of delicious cocktails in the Brasserie bar. Had an espresso martini and was one of the best! Beautiful location with very friendly bar staff (David and Stefania).
